In the interest of full disclosure, Emily is a work colleague/friend of my wife.

Our third shoot together, it's just a pity it took so long for us to both be available at the same time! Keen to further develop my skills using natural light I arranged to shoot with Emily in the small summerhouse in her back garden. We only had just over an hour for the shoot this time, and time flies by in Emily's company at the best of times, and it was just as much fun as the previous two shoots.

Shooting in the cramped confines of the summerhouse was an additional challenge for me, but Emily was patient and always willing to try different poses and angles, even with me balanced above her on the arm of an old sofa at one point! She also had some great ideas of her own for shots, and I came away with some cracking images that we are both very happy with.

Thanks Emily - you are always a pleasure to work with. Hopefully we don't have to leave it quite as long until our next shoot this time.

This was my second time working with Emily. The first being outdoors on location, I was very keen to work with her in a studio setting. I didn't have access to a studio at the time, but I do own my own strobe lighting, so Emily managed to arrange for us to shoot in a local church hall.

We spent some time in advance looking through Pinterest to agree the kind of style of images we might want to achieve, and we agreed in advance that Emily would be given free choice as to the outfits she wore. She turned up to the shoot on time with a bag full of clothes, and even helped me carry my gear into (and later out of) the venue.

The shoot was two hours of fun. As I have mentioned in my previous reference for Emily, she is very bubbly and an incredibly fun person to work with. Although relatively inexperienced she is very eager to learn and to develop her skills as a model, but needs a more experienced photographer than me to help her with this. What Emily lacks in experience she more than makes up for with enthusiasm, and we got some lovely shots.

Thanks Emily - I can't wait until we get a chance to shoot together again!

As part of my NCFE Photography course I had to carry out a location fashion shoot. Knowing that Emily had done a small amount of modelling in the past, I asked her if she would be interested in helping me out, and do an activewear themed shoot as Emily is a trained athlete. Emily not only jumped at the chance, she also arranged the location as well!

Prior to the shoot communications were fantastic. Emily sent me some recce shots of the location and I even had the opportunity to meet up with her to discuss outfits. On the day of the shoot, Emily was ready early, giving us a chance to wander around the location and take some relaxed test shots.

Sod's law dictated that just was we were about to start the shoot (in front of my tutor!) it started to rain. We therefore did some indoor shots first, hoping the rain would stop. It didn't, it actually got heavier, but this didn't phase Emily at all - she just got on with it, without a single moan (the exact opposite in fact) despite spending the next hour cold and wet.

Emily's bubbly personality, enthusiasm and joie de vivre was very infectious and kept us all going throughout the shoot. Although relatively inexperienced as a model, in the activewear/sportswoman context she was perfect and we got some great shots. For a photographer wanting to work with a model with a great toned physique, in a fitness/activewear theme, I would highly recommend her.

Thank you Emily - it was a fantastic and fun afternoon!
