What’s not to love about Elle?

Shoot #5 wasn’t supposed to be for a while but thankfully another tog cancelled on Elle (there must have been an earthquake, tornado and meteor strike on his home planet, otherwise why would you cancel?) so today’s shoot was a lucky last minute addition to our ‘shooty fun’* calendars.

If it hadn’t been raining, we’d have shot outdoors but given the forecast I booked us into the wonderfully accommodating Belper Studio at next to no notice (yeay for Vick and Pete).

My studio history isn’t bad but it isn’t exemplary either so I thought I’d take the opportunity to practice with a beauty dish. Gotta be more subtle with your lighting, Huwston!

Elle’s patience with me was no surprise. Patient is another adjective to add on to the long list that starts with Awesome and Beautiful, and ends with Yowsers and Zoink (I don’t know, either!).

In just two hours we shot a gorgeous chunk of quality images. Outfits, styling, poses, interestingness and humour were all very much intact! In fact, during this shoot I captured one of my very most utterly favouritists shots. Ever!

Book Elle! Because, you know, well she’s just kind of AWESOME!! You will not be disappointed - and that’s a Duggan^ promise.

Shoot #6 beckons us saucily from down the tracks! Coming dear . . .

I had a super studio shoot with Elle, working on my motion blur project.

She was wonderful to work with and fully engaged with this unusual shoot, coming up with lots of creative poses and moves.

Elle has a lovely sweet nature and an entirely professional approach (and she even helped me with packing up at the end of the shoot).

I'm sure I'll book Elle for more shoots in the future, and I've no hesitation in recommending her.

Had a great shoot with Elle today. We worked on a homage to Helmut Newton and got some really super shots.

Elle worked hard on researching the subject and brought all the right costumes, had lots of ideas and made a significant contribution to the accuracy of the images.

As well as being hard working, accommodating and professional Elle is a real pleasure to work with, personable and chatty and fun to be around.

This was our second shoot together and I hope not our last. Highly recommended!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Elle today on her Studio day at Fine & DanDee studio in Wokingham and to say pleasure is an understatement.

This lady is a true professional both in her modeling and attitude, This shoot was arranged at very short notice and the pre-communication was bang on. Elle brought with her all the clothing discussed / requested to the finest detail, her modeling is perfection personified, Her posing is so fluid and precise slipping from one perfect pose to the next with consummate ease with little or no direction needed from me,her experience is obvious by the way she carried herself but she did not consider it below herself to chat and joke and enjoy the shoot. I know I certainly enjoyed the experience of working with this beautiful and talented model and I look forward with relish to working with her again. Needless to say Elle comes highly recommended by me, if you get the chance to work with this talented model, take it and you will not regret it.

I arrived at the Fine and Dandee Studio, was greeted warmly and introduced to Elle, who had the most warm and welcoming smile I'd seen all day. After agreeing the details of the shoot we got started and before I could blink the hour was up. Elle was very easy to work with and gave me confidence to get the pictures I was after. Thank you for a great hour Elle, I highly recommend her and would definitely like to work with her again on something a little more challenging.

Some of the good things in life are down to luck and others are down to talent, hard work and personality.

I’m lucky that I live only 20 minutes or so away from Elle. Nothing else about Elle is down to luck (unless she’s just won the lottery, in which case send me a postcard from the Bahamas 😊).

Elle is beautiful. Nah, Elle is stunning. The key difference, for me, between beautiful and stunning can be found in the eyes. There is a sparkle and warmth in Elle’s eyes that instantly lets you know that everything is going to be just fine. And expressive, oh my are those gorgeous eyes expressive. Whatever you want - joy, anger, humour, mischief, sensuality . . . Elle’s packing the full arsenal!

Our fourth (count them) shoot was a short notice decision to have a couple of hours shooting duo with Marie Jean Taylor at Belper Studio. Our first duo day was only a short while before but there was still a lot to explore.

As per, our two hours flew by, during which we shot colour blocking, 60s retro, bodysuits and art nude.

I like to fool myself into thinking that, as I improve as a tog, I give more direction during shoots. Nah!! Who am I kidding? What do I know about creating great images that the vastly experienced Elle can’t ace before I’ve even started to think about how to describe what’s going through my monosyllabic tog-brain? (Nowt is the straightforward, and honest answer.

It still tickles me that I can be chatting away to Elle while setting up my camera and as soon as my head disappears to the back, I’m greeted with the most perfectly formed pose in the viewfinder. I then become the same temporarily mute tog as ever. There’s seriously no point in me even trying to impose my opinions on a model as good as Elle. I just let her do her thang. And what a mighty fine thang it is!

In between sets, Elle is also the warmest and most engaging company. Two hours isn’t enough. So I came back a little later on in the day for an additional hour of shooty fun.

The studio is not an environment I thrive in but, Lordy, we didn’t half capture a lot of quality images. Every shoot with Elle means I get better as a photographer.

We’ve got an amazing plan for a further shoot which should be happening before too long.

As with every single interaction with Elle, I CANNOT WAIT!! She has clearly worked really hard to get to know her job inside out and always handles herself with the utmost professionalism and an almost uniquely awesome charm.

I’m just lucky I’m close enough so we can shoot regularly.

Once again, Elle comes with a cast-iron, 100% bolted on, highly sparkly recommendation from me.

This reference is definitely long overdue! Damn my silly busy life.... BUT that just means I’ll have to write an extra long one, moreso because this lady is one the most genuine and sweetest souls I have ever had the pleasure of meeting my entire life. A very well deserved reference!

I’ve worked with Elle a couple of times modelling together and she’s shot some beautiful images of me herself at Belper studio. Every time we have worked together has been amazing and she just flows from pose to pose without any direction needed... which also means she is a dream to duo with! Never have I worked with a model where we’ve hardly if at all had to communicate with poses to get ‘that shot’... it literally just happens. I feel so at ease working with Elle and everything just flows beautifully and naturally when we’re on set together. We hit it off from the word go and I can see Elle never getting rid of me now (evil chuckle) she’s stuck with me for life.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying with Elle and her family a few times now and I’ve been welcomed into their home with open arms and treated like part of the fixtures and fittings. I’m honoured to have got to work with this amazing model and even more honoured to call her my friend.

I’m excited about our up and coming future dates we have together.

I honestly cannot recommended Elle enough, no words are good enough. Beautifully expressive model, beautiful person and you MUST work with her!

I have just got back from a very enjoyable shoot at my studio with Elle, after I put up a VERY last minute casting call for a folio update.

Even with my casting going live around 6.30/7pm last night, Elle was very responsive, she applied in a very polite and professional manner. 10pm when I finally got back to her she responded very quickly and again extremely professional with finding out my requirements for wardrobe, hair and make-up styling which I found a refreshing change.

Elle was on time and even without me asking she came prepared for the shoot with appropriate loose fitting clothing as the shoot called for some nudity, which tells me she is experienced to know to avoid clothing marks to the skin. Elle also came with a huge suitcase of clothing/props which we went through before the shoot and also gave some great suggestions for pieces/style/outfit choices I had not thought about.

Elle certainly knows her body and how to pose, which if you struggle directing a model is amazing and would be amazing for photographers just starting out or are shy and professionals who need a model to just get on with the job. She needs very little direction, but is also adaptable with suggestion and is willing to give things a go, obviously if asked nicely and to her comfort levels!

The shoot was great fun but very relaxed, even though Elle is a little worker and I had to say to stop and take breaks as the studio can get very hot.

I would highly recommend Elle and she will back at the studio soon!

Really pleased to be able to shoot with Elle again, This time a location shoot.

Elle arrived on time with a selection of outfits and accessories.

It is really easy to work with Elle as she takes up poses naturally with little direction, friendly to chat with making a relax shoot.

I am so glad I had the opportunity to shoot with Elle after we both had cancellations. She is a lovely, bubbly model who was a dream to work with.

Despite the booking being made at quite short notice pre-comms were brilliant and we were able to go into the studio primed and ready to go with lots of ideas. Our 3 hours together flew by, but we managed to fit plenty in covering a whole range of looks and styles. I am so pleased with the results, especially a number of images which capture her beautiful smile.

I highly recommend this fantastic model and would certainly love to work with Elle again.

Managed to work with the amazing Elle thanks to a model day booked at Catfish.

This was our third together and like all the others it was a blast. We had plenty of conversations to discuss ideas prior to the date so Elle was prepared with make up and outfits from the start, we managed to get through a lot of the ideas I had and Elle had no problem making my vision a reality effortlessly.

Elle is such a delight to work with, so easy to get along with. I highly recommend working with this amazing model, I look forward to a fourth shoot.

Third shoot with the amazing Elle today at catfish. As like the previous shoots Elle is easy to work with always chirpy and smiling putting the photographer. Elle always continues to surprise me with the amount of emotions she can produce in such a short set and each one amazing to look back at.

Elle is definitely a model I will work with again and if you haven't got the chance grab any opportunities with both hands you will not be disappointed .

I met Elle on a previous shoot when Elle was the photographer.

while we was there we was chatty throughout the shoot and soon realised I wanted to work with Elle.

She had a studio day booked at a local studio near me, swell as it being on my birthday.

so I thought birthday treat to myself lol.

the shoot went better than I thought, as within Pre comms we both managed to plan what we intended from our 2 hrs.

again we hit right off again having a chat and a laugh, which we just flowed though different poses and different lighting set up's.

I would highly recommend Elle to any photographer and will hopefully shoot again sometime.

It's incredible to realise that our latest shoot - third and counting - was within three months of me starting model shooting. In that time I've had quite a lot of experience but I am most definitely still a learner.

Elle is always a joy to work with. On our first shoot I was taken aback at how expressive and dynamic she is. That joy does not diminish at all with each shoot. If anything, it actually increases.

Elle's natural beauty is clear to see. What makes Elle such a wonderful lady to work with is her warm and welcoming personality, her professionalism and her patience with a newbie like me. It would be far too easy for Elle to turn up and plod through a job with a tog like me. No chance of that! Elle puts so much thought and effort into her work, while retaining a lovely calm demeanour that no shoot can fail to exceed expectations.

This shoot was yet another first for me . . . a first at a new studio and, most challenging for me, my first duo shoot. I knew that Elle and Marie were mutual fans and was surprised they hadn't met so I was delighted to facilitate their first meeting and job together.

Elle and Marie worked seamlessly together and bounced off each other. As should be expected with a timid newbie like me, they passively took control and gave me hour upon hour of fabulous looks, poses and moods. I'm still in awe of how Elle and Marie work so naturally.

There's no point claiming this was a team effort with me taking an equal third. Elle and Marie provided all of the energy and positivity required for the day. That said, when I did actually come up with an idea they made it work fabulously.

I'm still nowhere near a good enough tog to do justice to Elle's skills and beauty but that is one of the reasons why I love working with her - I learn every single time.

Elle is an utter delight. Professional, beautiful, calm, dynamic and expressive in equal measure. You can't ask for more and I look forward to many more shoots. 100% recommended. Thanks Elle xx

It was the first time we met Elle, and she was lovely! Very polite and kind. She worked well with Marie and Huw who she was shooting with. Elle is easy to communicate with and quickly replied to messages when discussing a shoot. We throughly enjoyed having her in the studio and are currently planning a model day with her!
