Ella joined me on a shoot at Basford Hurst cottage, doing the make up for both models I was shooting that day plus being on hand during the first shoot to keep things looking great and change up the look during.

Ella was friendly and professional throughout as well as keeping me updated on progress when doing the first look so I could prepare the lighting for when we were ready to start shooting.

It was very useful to be able to discuss the look options for changing the look to go with 2 different outfits we had left to shoot and get her input on what would work with both.

Her work was top notch and whilst I've not booked many muas for shoots before, I can certainly see the value a good one brings to a shoot and the editing after so I'd certainly consider booking Ella again when I've got shoots in her direction.

I contacted Ella looking for a MUA for two shoots here at Basford Hurst Cottage. Both of which the photographers had their own requirements.

Pre comms with Ella were great, everything was swiftly and easily organised. Ella arrived on time, dressed professionally and with everything she needed for the day. She listened to what the model and photographer had to say and created the most flawless looks!!

Ella is a complete professional, she is a really talented MUA, easy to talk to, friendly and I would highly recommend her. Ella is welcome back to Basford Hurst Cottage any time and I really hope to see her again!! Thank you Ella!

A Shot in the Dark

I worked with Ella for the first time recently after seeing her work with a mutual friend, and I'm so glad I did!

Ella's pre-shoot communications were fantastic and her passion for what she does showed through immediately. Ella was both friendly and professional and spent time chatting about what we all wanted and ensured she understood the plan for what was quite a complex day of looks. This gave me faith going into the day!

On the day Ella arrived on time with everything she needed and wasn't put out at all by others running late. It was a long and very busy day for Ella, who worked hardest out of the whole team with very little downtime and not once did she complain but remained bright, cheerful and focused throughout!

The looks Ella created far exceeded my expectations! She had a difficult brief but totally nailed it, from natural looking beauty to something pretty out there! Beauty I think is the biggest test for an MUA, your make-up needs to be able to be held up to such scrutiny in very close detailed images and Ella absolutely aced it :D The whole team was very impressed with her work and her attitude and I'd be delighted to have her on board again!

Would really highly recommend booking Ella for any make-up looks you're doing as she's super versatile and absolutely lovely! :D
