I owe Ella May a huge apology having worked with her at least 4 times in the last 6 months and not once leaving her a reference.....

Ella May is not afraid to push her boundaries, whether it be creating a Unicorn, sugar skull painting (which was amazing) or simple natural make-up for a couple of dance shoots we have undertaken. Her skills are endless, she knows exactly what she wants to achieve and just gets on with creating wonderful masterpieces.

Thanks Ella May, you are amazing and we will work together many more times I'm sure.

I worked with Ella and her friend Samantha on a Sugar Skull Photo Shoot at York Photography Studio. Prior to this we had been in contact with ideas for the make up and I had sent various Sugar Skull photo's to Ella, so that she had a clear idea of what make up was needed.

Ella was a lovely person to work with, the whole shoot was very relaxed and everyone felt comfortable with getting involved.

Looking forward to working with Ella again :) And what an amazing shoot! :)

I worked with Ella on a recent collaboration where she arranged both the model and the make-up.

Pre-shoot communications were excellent and Ella did a fantastic job at pretty much arranging the whole shoot.

The make-up looked amazing as Ella is a very talented MUA and on top of that, she was a joy to work with.

If you are looking for someone who can do amazing make up and be great to work with too then you need to book Ella. I know I certainly will be in the future.

Ella is a very skilled make up artist; she uses high quality products, and applies make up in a highly meticulous and hygienic manner - no touch up were needed despite the heat outside! Our shoot today went very smoothly and was a lot of fun. Highly, highly recommend Ella as a make up artist! :)

Well what can I say ..

Brilliant comms must of been chatting and organising the shoot for about 1 month before hand. Ella knew exactly what she wanted out of the shoot.

When the shoot came round. I was amazed at the quality of the work Ella brought to the table. Great stuff. Recommended.

I second Ollie about that, I was amazed that this was Ella's first shoot for the quality of her make up and the ideas she brought to the table. She had good comms before the shoot to brief me on the looks, which got me hooked on the ideas. Ella created some really unique make up looks, one was using some awesome blue glitter with stars, Ella also listened to suggestions and added silver and blue glitter finger tips too, that really completed the look.

I was impressed that she was able to complete the blue looks quickly and have it so it also transferred well on camera too. The other look was free hand. Fantastic hand painted black and white geometric shapes going down my face and neck- which were very neat but obviously took a bit longer as it was a more precise look. She seemed very confident in her make up skills and didn't keep trying to amend the looks and she didn't make any mistakes that needed to be redone.

Ella works well as a team with Samantha who did the hair. If you're looking for a new team to do creative looks, I would highly recommend them. Thanks again, Kira x
