Hiya! I am Lydia, a portrait photographer for 5 years, based in Southend on Sea in Essex UK. I prefer to shoot outside in natural lighting, and in both rural and natural settings. I also have a portable studio with lights and backdrops, which I can set up if people request a studio shoot. I have just treated myself to a new camera, so am keen to get new bookings to see what my new camera baby can do!
I have worked with models, actors, families and kids, on both paid and TFP basis, and am always looking looking for more work to improve my skills and increase my portfolio. My rats are reasonable, and at the moment my books are wide open as I am currently in a full time project support position. I work from home so have the flexibility to do shoots in the week, and edit in the evenings.
When booking a shoot with me, we discuss the style of the shoot, if any costumes or props are needed, and decide on a location. Generally I like to meet on a middle ground between your location and mine in Southend. I have done a couple of beach shoots if you fancy a day out in the sand (or pebbles!).
