Electricity Works Studio

The Electricity Works Studio is a new mixed use studio/presentation/training/gallery space.  Fully equipped to work as a photography studio, up to 80 seat presentation/conference space, training space or a location.  Photography slots are limited as the space is often booked for location and conference work.

The former Baptist School is the main space of this landmark listed building that lies close to the city centre of Leeds.  It has some unique features such as Church Organ, Stage, Baptism Bath (if you can find it), and the amazing external facade.  Usable shooting space internally is approx 12mx10m.

There is a separate kitchen area (with limited cooking facilities).  Changing facilities are also available.

Studio Equipment:

Lights

10 Strobe Heads of various types and triggers

Mixture of LED continuous light panels and gels

Modifiers:

150cm, 180cm and 200cm Octagonal softboxes, 2x Rectangles, 1 kicker, beauty dish (with diffuser), snoots, backdrop reflector

Reflectors (6xlarge white/black polyboards), 3 other reflector (with a range of skins)

Wind machine, Haze/Fog Machine,  Kessler Crane and track system (not always available as this is often hired out)

Loads of the usual stands (C-Stands, Master Stands, booms) and weights

Backdrops include Black, White, and Grey (usually loads on a tri-hook system for swift deployment.  Loads of different large Colorama papers, Lastolite pop-ups and painted Gravity Backdrops.  Several sofas, chairs, stools and pews.

Rates:

£25 per hour (min 2 hours)

£80 per half day (4 hours)

£150 per full day (8 hours)

Introductory sessions, to give an overview of the equipment, are available by request (charged as part of booking time)
