Hi, I'm Gerry

 

For many years my background was in professional video production, but photography has always been there as a backdrop and I have shot most styles of model photography.

 

Currently my main interests are based on pin-up photography from the 1950's and 60's (often with a modern twist) and also stylised, monochrome images (Hollywood in the 1940's) type portraits and I'm now updating my port to reflect this.

 

I'm also interested in Burlesque and Victorian themes, and original artistic concepts.

 

If any of these genres are something you may be interested in then please do get in touch.  I always reply to messages and can often arrange shoots from my well equipped home studio quite quickly.

 

My other businesses run from my home office so I'm usually able to shoot throughout the week, including most weekends.

 

I have a (7mtr x 3mtr) summerhouse in my garden, which serves as a well equipped, versatile and dedicated studio and which works really well for all manner of poses, portraits and full length work.  I also have an immaculate and spacious Victorian style bathroom (with roll top bath) that can be used.  Please see my 'studio' album below for more details.  All the FPI's linked above have been shot in my studio (with the obvious exception of the Spitfires over the church!)

 

I mainly prefer to pay models because I'm usually working to my own remit, however I also like to experiment and will work TF on the basis that half the time is spent shooting my ideas and half the time shooting yours.  On that basis you will always receive your choice of well edited, high quality and un-watermarked images for your own use both in high resolution and web size, for your own unrestricted use.

 

It's probably worth noting that I never mess people around!  I have good communications, stick to dates and schedules and I work professionally - but I'm also quite relaxed and easy going :)

   

Boston is easily reached by train from Nottingham and Skegness and reasonably easily from Peterborough and Lincoln. I’m two minutes walk from Boston train and bus stations but also happy to pick up from anywhere within ten miles, whenever possible.  Parking here is quite easy too.
