I have been taking and making photographs for over forty years, I started with basic full manual SLR and twin-lens reflex film cameras and have since moved on to digital. I have won a couple of photographic competitions over the years, including an R.S.P.B. for a wildlife photograph. As a military veteran with PTSD, I use my camera to help keep me grounded in the here and now.
My current work includes Reportage; where I have had several images published including the Sunday People. Sports; Local pub teams and motorsports with trackside access. Events; I have recently helped to cover the visit to the North West of Charlie Head, who is currently Stand Up Paddling around the coastline of the UK. My intentions are to gain more studio experience and after visiting a studio with a group of photographers today, wish to expand my portfolio in this direction.
