This was my first shoot with Derek and seeing the raw images it was very successful! Derek was polite and chatty throughout and made me feel at ease from the beginning, and thankfully didn’t seem too phased when I went from ‘professional model mode’ to running away from a spider I saw nearby 🙈 (several times too 👀)

Pre shoot comms were excellent and I would definitely recommend working with Derek and hope to again soon myself :)

I was delighted to meet and work with Derek today who had bravely signed up for a shoot with myself and the lovely JadeStacyMaria although he probably didnt realise he was brave at the time....

We were working at an abandoned raf base which required shall we say, careful entry! Derek was willing to climb crawl and slide through not the easiest of entry points to gain access to the two venues we visited, not only that, he entrusted us with his safety on more than one occasion, I hope we fared him well!

A gentleman for sure, Derek was a true team player, patiently taking turns and more than a few times I saw him waiting quietly for his turn. I always make a point of making sure photographers as such get their 'time' with the models.

Derek is a man after my own heart, you often hear other photographers 'calling' people for using 'auto' functions on cameras but, the auto function is there for a reason. Todays cameras are designed to use optimal settings for the light present. The venue we were in had some stunning natural light but also some very challenging light, everybody was struggling! Derek did exactly what I would have done, set the camera to auto and tried that. The results spoke for themselves, whereas everyone else was getting dark and moody, Derek was getting rich vibrant tones which was exactly what was required considering we were wearing satin crimson dresses-they looked sumptuous back of his camera.

A delight to work with from start to finish, I would totally recommend Derek and hope I have the pleasure of working with him again in the future.

This has to be the 7th or 8th time I have worked with Derek now!

And just like all the previous shoots it was super enjoyable!

I had invited Derek on a unique workshop I was hosting alongside another model who travelled from up north, to a local RAF base near me!

Derek met me on the morning and was kind enough to drive me and another local tog to the location!

Derek was faced with multiple challenges including climbing over barbed wire fences, through windows and battling the elements of dust and wind! Although he did not complain once and totally took it all in his stride!

he was as gentleman like as ever and a pleasure to be around! As well as that he got on with the rest of the group well and captured some amazing images!

I hope he had as much fun as I did and no doubt we will catch up once more before the year is out :)

I got to shoot with derek for the 2nd time on my studio day at the dairy barn and we had great fun.

Produced good work and had some great ideas which we collaborated on to really bring to life.

He made me feel comfortable and we had good pre comms too

We are very remiss, as Derek is such a loyal client who supports many of our ventures and comes to our club nights and Model days and all in all a great chap.

Having worked with Derek Several times now it's hard to imagine it being a job or a chore when shooting with this man, He is positive, clear in communication and friendly.

Each time we work together we come up with something different and he never fails to amaze with his end results, as well as this he has grown as a photographer, editor and person since I first shot with him almost two years ago.

We always have the upmost of fun and I can't wait to work with him more in the future.

I had my first shoot with Derek on my studio day at Wolfe Cottage. Derek was good fun to work with, polite, friendly and professional. We tried out a variety of sets and looks and explored the outside area of the studio to get some beautifully different sets in. It is nice when you can shake things up and experiment together. Had my first shoot with Derek today. He picked me up from Norwich Station and we drove to the studio which was an extra hour and 15 minutes, which was very kind of him. He also dropped me back!!

We shot a variety of styles, indoors and outdoors which was lovely to change it up! I look forward to seeing some of the images! He is very friendly and great to work with! I completely recommend working with Derek and I hope to book a shoot with him again!

I had the pleasure to meet Derek and shoot with him during a group shoot at Wolf Cottage Studio.

As it was a 3h ballet theme en pointe, Derek made sure I was ready to keep shooting as it was quite intense.

He was also very friendly, and it's a wonderful photographer. I am glad I've met him.

Had my first solo shoot with Derek after he attended one of my previous workshops.

He created some amazing images before and I was keen to take him into my world of urbex shooting to see what we could create and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Brilliant communication, friendly, funny and a total professional and extremely patient when I had him clambering over barbed wire haha.

He kindly picked me up and dropped me home and even dropped my case back to me after I left it in his car.

It was a great shoot and evening and we already have a second shoot in talks. Thank you :)

What a lovely Shoot I had with Derek. We shot for 2 hours while I was up in Norwich and it was a real pleasure. He was such fun to work with the time just flew by, had plenty of ideas and gave direction well.

I do hope this isn't the last time we shot!

Firstly pre comms were fine, and he was so helpful and understanding when I asked if it was possible to change the time of our shoot - which I really appreciated!

Derek is a very polite and respectful photographer! He makes sure the model is happy etc! He had some fab ideas when shooting, and also listened to any of my suggestions!

We did a selection of lingerie, fashion and nude as well as high key and low key! We got through lots of sets which kept the shoot flowing which was fab!

Derek is a really friendly person who id be more than happy to shoot with again! He got some really great shots and was kind enough to send me them! I look forward to seeing what he produces from our shoot!

Picked me up and dropped me off from bus station. Provided a wonderful studio space at Butterfly studios, and our shoot flew by so fast! We achieved great maternity pictures for both our portfolios and I am very satisfied with the quality and work he puts into his art!
