I have had the pleasure now of photographing with Doz on several occasions in order to enhance my own photography. Doz has been extremely professional, helpful and has some brilliant artistic ideas. Doz produces some brilliant photographs and is also a highly talented artist.

I would have absolutely no issue recommending Doz. Very inspirational.

I had a lovely shoot organised last minute with David - my first shoot outdoors in a long while, and it went wonderfully, posing with the beautiful roses and other features in his garden, at his home in Crick.

Having worked with David plenty of times before, he messaged me the evening before to check my availability (coinciding with the good weather) as he had a particular pre-raphaelite painting in his mind, and I was able to pack some outfits perfect for that beautiful style.

As always he was accommodating, easy going, respectful, kind and enjoyable to work with. It was great to catch up over a cup of tea and sarnie he made me afterwards. Look forward to the next time :-) Happily recommended!

Having worked with way over a 150 photographers in only 2 years of being in the modelling industry. I had the pleasure of shooting with David- my second photography shoot via PurplePort, in my hometown. We both turned up early;eager to shoot and got some really beautiful shots as a result. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go through the pictures and choose which ones I like (a first time for me on a collab shoot). But David did ask which styles I would prefer.

Shooting outside amongst elephant grass and sunsets, this was literally a breath of fresh air from my usual indoor studio shoots. David knows exactly what he wants to achieve and as a real eye for art. However, this often led to any of my opinions being quickly rejected and invalidated. For example, when I criticised my false lashes on a particular shot where I’m looking down. My opinion was rejected as though I didn’t know what I was talking about. When I was only referring to my lashes when looking down and I do know more than a photographer on the matter of make up. Nonetheless, David made me feel comfortable whilst shooting and confident when posing. He also very kindly gave me a book he had written, which I look forward to reading. The shoot as a whole felt effortless. Thanks again! Wish you well

Gentleman, coach - photographer, an artist... I had a pleasure to work with David yesterday and could not wait any longer to state how much I appreciate his talent. He has got great photographic mind, person full of exciting visions, very sensitive to the detail what I love the most. Helpful man that knows exactly what he wants but also listens to other ideas and reacts when correction is needed by advising and coaching trough out the session. Pleasant to work with, very open and friendly person with big heart to art. Looking forward to work with him again :)

Another fabulous shoot yesterday with Doz - whizzing our way to Snowdonia for 24 hours, to shoot in the misty mountains and stunning lakes, this time meeting up with a fellow female photographer too. Despite some fog and drizzle, we made the most of the locations and breaks in the weather, resulting in an enjoyable day and many stunning shots!

I can certainly echo my previous references - Doz is entirely professional, enthusiastic, passionate, generous and considerate, with a great imagination and creative mind.

Always a complete gentleman, forever going out of his way to be helpful, kind, and thoughtful, to all those around him. Great fun on shoots, with a wealth of knowledge to share in countless subjects and infuse into his artful work.

An absolutely lovely person and brilliant artist I can happily recommend to all :-D

I had my second shoot with the lovely Doz recently :) After many talks and waiting for the right weather we finally got the chance to explore the beautiful Snowdonia national park. Doz grew up around that area which showed in his knowledge of locations. It was truly wonderful day, I have never seen such beauty in Wales and I am Welsh!

Doz is great company to shoot and travel with. He is not afraid to spend time to travel to find the right spot and the journeys themselves are as much fun as shooting. Doz is kind, polite, friendly, professional and full of great ideas and enthusiasm. He comes well prepared with props and a lovely wardrobe of dresses, some of which he has made himself! An inspiring person for sure!

I am so chuffed we got the chance to shoot again and it was well worth the wait. I look forward to working with his true gent again :)

I can whole heartedly recommend him!

I had a fantastic shoot with Doz recently, he messaged me to see if I was free as the weather was looking good and the timing couldn't have been more perfect! We arranged a shoot for the next morning with a 6am start.

I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful photographer nearby, I don't know my area too well as I haven't been here long but no worries there as Doz knows Loughborough and Leicester area very well. We explored some fantastic locations, they were so varied I was blown away. I could easily shoot serval days with Doz and then some.

Doz has great communication and was a perfect gent throughout the day, I really hope I get another chance to shoot with him :)

Definitely one to recommend! If you get the chance to shoot with him do it! You will only disappointment yourself if you don't!

It was so lovely to meet and work with the fabulous multi talented Doz in Snowdonia on a Paul David Smith fantasy themed photography expedition a few weeks ago.

Doz is an absolute gent, supplying bacon, fruit and a cheery attitude, easy to get on with and has plenty of interesting things to talk about! His work as an artist is astonishing and his photography is equally beautiful. I love loads of the shots from the weekend and would love to work with Doz again. It was such a fun weekend. Thanks Doz! 😁

Doz is a gentleman with a talent unique.

I commissioned a painting from him and to say I was delighted would be a serious understatement. ( I will be showing it here on PP soon)

Meeting him yesterday I found myself in awe of his skill. Clearly this man has genuine empathy which shows throughout his art work. To be an artist at this level real passion is a must.. Doz has this in bucket loads.

Had a wonderful shoot with Doz this weekend . Can I just say Doz is amazing. Doz picked me up at 4 am for an early morning start . Drove all the way down to Birmingham to pick me up and then drove us all the way up to Snowdonia .After our shoot he drove me back to Liverpool where i needed to be for my tour and drive himself back home . It was a hell of a long day and Doz was a pleasure to be around. Doz made sure that the car was loaded up full of snacks and drinks . He even took me for a meal after our shoot. Doz always ensured that I was ok and comfortable throughout the whole shoot. Always has the models saftey at heart . The locations he rove us to were magnificnet and made a great backdrop for the beautiful photos we shot. Doz is great company and keeps you entertained. I was told many stories throughout the day , some of which i will always remember :D. Thanks for a great day . Jessica x

I recently ventured to the other side of the camera for some pre-raphaelite inspired portraits with David. David's ideas were endless and this, combined with his impeccable knowledge of the locations, allowed for a really productive day. As an artist, David has a strong vision for his work, which was reflected in his styling & location choices and in the direction he gave. The enthusiasm David has for developing his art brought creative energy to the shoot, and I think we both left the day excited about the images to follow!

David organized a last minute shoot with me yesterday, and what a lovely day it was! Beautiful weather in a beautiful location, decorated with spring blossom, and a sunset over a field of elephant grass. It was a great day out, and David was very kind, driving all the way to Birmingham twice just to pick me up and drop me off, and buying my lunch, gifting me a beautiful dress he brought along and even giving me some lovely prints of his paintings. The time flew by, even though we were unfortunately stuck in traffic for a while on the way, David is great company. We got some stunning images which we are both excited to share. I'm really looking forward to working together again!

I cannot thank David enough for such a wonderful shoot. I felt at ease straight away and Davis was always checking to make sure I felt comfortable in every scenario. He gave great direction and some incredibly useful feedback which I shall put to practice on my next shoot! Every idea he had was so well thought out and I only hope I did them justice. I am thrilled with the final images and really appreciate all the effort David put into this shoot (including a sandwich at lunch). Thanks again.

Another fab shoot with David at the Natural Light Studio.

He is a real sweetheart, puts so much thought into his imagery, bringing great props and accessories, and often giving me things to keep for my modelling wardrobe. Very professional with a wonderful energy! He is lovely company and shoots with him are very fun, creating stunning results! Thank you David! :-D

Not only is David completely professional, respectful and creative to work with as a photographer and artist, he has such a friendly, kind, generous and thoughtful character.

I first worked with him at a model day at Natural Light Studio in Northampton, where he bought along great accessories for the shots, and was full of enthusiasm and positivity for the results. Yesterday I worked with him for a full day on location, where he drove us all the way to Snowdonia and back! The calm, sunny winter weather was beautiful as hoped... such an adventure shooting beside picturesque lakes and waterfalls!

He's great company and always extremely considerate for your safety, comfort and wellbeing. I look forward to further shoots with him and can highly recommend him to other models :-)
