The Lull Before The Storm

When I go on photographic trips, I usually live in my car; each evening I head towards a specific place to take the sunset and the same for sunrise. I will know beforehand the time of both sunset and sunrise, but also moonrise and set and the movements of the stars; specifically the Milky Way, and when the optimum time for astrophotography is. For two nights this was my preferred place for taking the sunrise, sunset and the Milky Way. Whilst I have done some colour adjustments to this image, I'm not sure it does justice to the feelings within me as I stared up into the coming storm, highlighted by a glorious sunset. That feeling that tingles through you as the storm approaches, was electrifying and when the storm hit, I thought it would wash my car away with lightning striking the ground all around me. Exhilarating isn't the word :)
