Firstly, let me say I always reply to messages I get from people here. I may not answer the administrative drivel that comes from the moderators of this platform that requires no answer. So if you see under the information section that it says "Rarely Replies", this site it wrong. I'm not on here every day as I still have a photographic business to operated and am opening up a new studio.

I'm a long time photographer that started in the film era. With regards to modelling, I shoot fashion, beauty, nudes, editorials, commercial, sports, lifestyle, creative, alternative, bodypainting and many other themes. I'm well equipped and can shoot in the studio, on location, outdoors and even underwater. I love to travel and meet new challenges and create new unique works. Most of my work is digital today, however I still use and am very proficient with 35mm, medium format and large format film cameras.

I accept paid assignments, collaborations with models and do occasionally hire models. My preference is to portray women as empowered, self-aware and self-assured. I think an image can be truly amazing when capturing the beautiful essence of the feminine spirit, character and physique. If you are interested in cheap pinup or gratuitous glamour, I am not the photographer for you. I will not photograph themes that demean, subordinate, repress or marginalizes women.

I like to have fun at my shoots, but first, we discuss what we are going to capture. I don't ask you to shoot any theme that is inappropriate for you. Also, I don't surprise you with changes to the agenda that we agree upon. If you travel with a companion/chaperone, they are welcome and just have to be out of the way so we can talk directly. For safety reasons there is no alcohol, drugs or smoking at my shoots. A model's safety comes first and I will not compromise on that.

If I bothered to count, I would likely see over 600 model shoots in the past few years.  Just of interest sake, I use 6 different full frame camera from several manufactures and also own many video cameras that shoot the ultra high definition 4K video. I've shot enough variety of themes that I have the ability and equipment to shoot anywhere in the world. This includes walking across the the Sahara Desert in Egypt in the summer, above the Arctic Circle in winter, deep shipwrecks in the oceans and high altitudes from aircraft.

My work has been featured in international television, beauty magazines, advertising, government offices, museums and a large variety of web sites. I've also worked on contract for Canada's largest photography companies and know the industry well. My background is rounded out by being an engineer in aerospace, optics and mechatonics.  Additionally I have certificates of qualification as a diver, welder, mechanic, teacher, photographer, soldier and welder.
