Had a brilliant first shoot with Don at far forest studio yesterday. Coms were brilliant. He is such a nice man, very easy to work with and a very skilled photographer. We created loads of brilliant images and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

I highly recommend Don to all and hopefully work with him again in the near future.

I had a great shoot with Don at Far Forest Studio. Pre communications were fantastic and we discussed some ideas which came together perfectly. Don arrived on time and greeted me with warmth as I arrived, Ensured I had plenty of snacks and drinks available and checked in to make sure that I was comfortable at all times. He showed me the pictures on the camera as we went along and quickly adapted to my shooting style as I was moving around. I was respected and comfortable throughout the whole shoot. Would recommend Don to anybody looking for a photographer.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Don organised a group shoot here at Basford Hurst Cottage for himself, two other photographers and three models. All pre comms with Don were great, he made everything very easy to organise and kept me updated with any changes along the way.

On the day of the shoot he arrived on time with everything he needed for a great days shooting. We had a tour around the location and a chat over a cuppa before getting to work. Throughout the day Don worked very hard with all the models involved to produce many wonderful images. He was completely respectful of our location and happy to ask if he ever needed anything. He even brought plenty of snacks and drinks to share with everyone (always a winner!!!).

We would of course highly reccomend Don, a really talented photographer and a pleasure to host here at Basford. Thank you Don, we hope to see you again soon!!

Apologies for the delayed reference Don!

Don booked me for a small group event at Basford Hurst Cottage with two other photographers and models. It was a full day, but Don ensured we had plenty of time to eat and such in between shooting so that we weren't feeling entirely done in by the end (in fact, not at all).

He was brilliantly easy-going, gives really clear direction whilst allowing plenty of freedom in creativity on my part and is genuinely enjoyable to shoot with.

Another excellent shoot with Don!

Don organised a small group event at Basford Hurst Cottage which is often used for model and photographer shoot days (a beautiful place may I add)

I have worked with Don numerous times now and never fails to disappoint.

The day itself ran smoothly and everyone knew exactly what the plan was and what to expect. Each model had adequate time to work with each photographer.

As always Don made me feel at ease. Whilst leading the way he also makes sure to allow for myself to pose freely at times how I feel I want to and also inout any creative ideas I have or images I wish to capture.

He is great at what he does and always prompt on getting images across from the days work.

I felt comfortable for the duration of the shoot as I knew I would and look forward to again working together in the future.

Will always recommend Don as a photographer all models should work with for capturing a multitude of different styles and genres of images : )

Don booked a group shoot at Basford Hurst Cottage for himself, two photographers and three models. Sadly his model had to cancel last minute so he asked me if I would step in which of course I was super excited to do!!!

Working with Don was a breeze, he is clearly a very established, professional and knowledgeable photographer. He wasted no time setting up, adjusting settings and composing many beautiful images!! Throughout our shoot time together we worked through a series of images using the natural light, focusing on some art nude work and portraiture. Don was very happy for me to pose freely but equally happy to provide some direction.

I felt completely comfortable working with Don, he was very respectful of me and my space and we had a good laugh and lots of chats throughout the day. The other models also spoke very highly of him and his work.

It goes without saying that I would highly reccomend a shoot with Don and I really look forward to seeing some of the images from a very successful day! Thank you so much Don!!

My first time shooting with Don has been my best experience to date!

His approach and communication from our first contact kept my nerves at ease. He gave me clear and precise directions in case my satnav took me a different way, and as soon as I got there my breath was taken away at how beautiful the grounds were, it's so peaceful and quiet.

Don made me feel so comfortable and at home the entire time with lots of laughs! He is really funny!! The photos turned out so so good! And I recieved them back on the same day for me to choose which ones I'd like to be edited.

I would love to have another shoot with Don in the near future, and I would highly recommend models to as well, trust me you won't be disappointed!

Also, I really loved that no outside shoes weren't to be worn in the photography area of the studio, with indoor slippers provided as well as gowns. It was truly a wonderful experience!

I recently had my first shoot with Don, who was a pleasure to work with and was a exceptional experience.

Don picked me up from the train station, he was on time and as soon as he picked me up he made me feel as ease and comfortable. We had a great chat on the way to the studio. When at the studio, Don showed me around and offered me refreshments.

Although I don’t have extensive modelling experience Don made me feel confident and comfortable during the shoot, Don is very friendly and we always had something to chat about. Don has some amazing and creative ideas and provided clear directions while also encouraging my creativity.

We managed to get though multiple sets, and I am really happy with the results

Don is a great person to be around, he is full of laughter and very chatty which made time fly by. I would be delighted to shoot with Don again and highly recommend him.

Had a fantastic shoot with Don today. Pre comms were great. Shared some ideas beforehand which made it easier on the day. Don is very relaxed and laid back in his approach and is great at advising during the shoot. So many pictures taken that looked really good that I can’t wait to see the final images.

Would highly recommend Don whether your a seasoned pro or someone new this guy will sure to capture those images that you are looking for. Thank you for a great morning :-)

Thank you once again Don for an amazing shoot!

Don made me feel at ease right away, he let me know exactly what to expect when shooting with him so there were no surprises, there was no awkwardness, and there was no space for me to get into my head.

Communication before, during and after the shoot was spot on. Lots of banter on set made for a very fun and relaxed shoot - and the photos came out great too! Don definitely captured me in the best way, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Can’t wait for the next one!

I had such an enjoyable shoot with Don at the lovely far forest studio & I would absolutely highly recommend him!

As a very new model I’m still learning the ropes, and I learnt so much from Don who is clearly very knowledgeable in the photography field!

He is very easy to get on with, and has a really lovely, kind and friendly nature.

Pre shoot communication was excellent, and at all times of discussion I felt my levels were respected.

We had a good laugh during our shoot and the time just flew by!

The photos I saw on the back of the camera were amazing and I’m so excited to add the final edits to my portfolio!

I cannot wait to hopefully work with Don again in the future!

Had my first shoot with Don last week, and hopefully not my last :)

Pre-shoot comms were friendly and relaxed, and Don was very patient despite responses being a bit slow on my end! In person he was similarly friendly, easygoing and professional, had plenty of ideas to work with which led to a really enjoyable shoot overall.

Don was very respectful and I felt safe and comfortable throughout both the shoot and the drive to and from the studio, and he provided a very generous number of initial edits with a very quick turnaround.

Would definitely work with Don again, highly recommended!

Hello!! I had the pleasure to shoot with amazing man. He picked me up from the station and he dropped me off as well. In terms of the shoot everything was amazing I had nice room where to do my make up and to get changed as well. He treated me really nice, and I laugh with him a lot too, he offered me snacks and some drinks. He teach me some good poses and he gave me some advice that I will follow of course. I would love to shoot with him again, he never pushed me to do anything I wasn’t comfortable with, everything was really easy going and he took me amazing shots.

I had a great first shoot yesterday with Don, a professional guy that certainly knows his stuff, especially creating amazing lighting!

He's been lovely to work with, comms have been friendly and helpful, it made the whole experience fun.... and he didn't seem to mind my silliness!

He was patient and understanding as we worked through our various sets and poses, I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again and feel he is really encouraging whilst I'm finding my feet in different types of modelling.

It's clear he is caring and considerate of the model, as it's January we planned the shoot with a mix of indoor and outdoor so I wouldn't get too cold, which is really appreciated - along with a perfectly brewed cup of tea. What more could you ask for?

Overall had a fab time and I'm already excited to see what we can create together in the future!

Had a shoot with Don today. What a lovely man. He communicated well with me from the start and arrived on time. He was very through in the way he works and offered me lots of useful advice and gev me some good tips as I am fairly new to modelling. I can't wait to shoot with Don again in far forest when the weather warms up a little. Highly recommend thank you for making me feel at ease😊

Always up for creative ideas and trying new styles and different vibes which is great fun! Always good vibes and great at what he does!

Shoots with Don have been extremely relaxed and just all round good fun☺️ he has a great eye for getting great images and will let the model pose freely while also guiding for some areas which I find is a perfect balance : )

Very through with making sure we get the most out of the time within the shoot and each set. Always wanting to get the most out of me with covering any ideas I may have which is fab.

Don is a lovely and genuine guy and just easy going which creates for the best atmosphere

Would highly recommend and always looking forward to working together again!☺️

Had my second shoot with Don and am once again very happy, the pictures turned out amazing and I love Far Forest Studio that Don chose for the shoot, once again he was respectful, professional and such a great photographer and person to work with, I felt at ease, comfortable and confident the entire time and had a lot of fun and am proud of the amount of photos we got, couldn't recommend enough and the fact he fitted me in on short notice was amazing as well, super happy and excited for the end result and looking forward to more shoots together in the future, thank you again :)

Just had a shoot together and am very very happy with what I have seen so far of the images, the shoot was very relaxed, professional and enjoyable, the location Don chose was wonderful and he is very talented, professional and easy to work with, I felt comfortable, at ease and confident the entire time, one of my favourite shoots and definitely looking forward to shooting together again, couldn't recommend enough :)
