References for doc Martin

I had my third shoot with Martin at the little Chelsea gallery yesterday. Martin is so easy going, and likes to take a good look at the images before proceeding onto the next set, which I find a great way to work as you can spot errors in either the posing or subtly adjusting the light.

Martin is a talented photographer, capturing a range of different styles such as art nude, portraits and fashion.

Not only is he talented but a compassionate and kind person too, with many insightful and interesting things to discuss in the day.

I wholeheartedly recommend Martin to anyone, if you haven't worked with him, do!

Another great shoot with Martin this time on a duo shoot with Gemma huh.

Martin had plenty of great ideas which suited our duo style, some very fun and challenging to re-create!

As always Martin's pre comms where spot on, he is easy to work with, polite and the creative type of photographer you want to shoot with.

I hope to work with Martin again in the future.

Lovely second shoot with Martin.

He's a really relaxed person to work with, tethers the pictures to his laptop so we can both see the results.

I love working in this way because it's more like a collaboration.

Martin is not only a talented photographer but a really interesting and funny person too.

Martin and I had our first shoot back in January (sorry it has taken me soo long to write a reference!) at NLS and it went very well :) His pre-shoot comms were spot on and we sorted out what the plan was with no trouble at all. He was very easy to get along with and work with, I was very pleased with how the shoot went and the results we got on back-of-cam. I'd recommend him to other models with no hesitation, and hopefully we can shoot again soon!

I had a full day shoot with Martin at my home studio just last week.

It has been just under a year since we worked together and it was good to catch up and create some more super images (that were a bit different to last time)

The day felt very relaxed- but also productive. We worked our way through lots of different sets ups and also headed outside braving the cold to get some lovely fashion images around the Abbey! :D

The day flew by and I was very pleased with the results.

Worked with martin on mike croshaws lighting masterclass and he was very easy to work with, with a great sense of humour and took some pretty epic shots!

He is easy going, friendly and eccentric!

Loved the shoot and can't wait to work together in the future.

Modelography

Martin attended my creative lighting workshop yesterday. It was a pleasure to meet him, he's a really nice guy with a great sense of humour and he got along well with everyone. He was polite and respectful to the model and I would 100% recommend him to any model. Thanks Martin, hope to see you again soon! Mike

Had the wicked pleasure of shooting with Martin on my studio weekend at the Natural Light Spaces in Northampton last week :)

Martin was my first lovely photographer to book on to the weekend, pre comms were great and Martin also brought a moodboard of imagery that he was interested in shooting.

Within our time together we shot a variety of portraits, fashion nudes, and art nudes, whilst trying out loads of different lighting techniques, lens changes, and sets.

Just as the last time Martin was very accommodating throughout the day with any ideas that I had, happy to have a break, after each set we would review the shots on his laptop so we could figure out our next move. Always a very relaxed shoot when working with Martin, and he’s always happy to listen to the model for any advice :)

After seeing the shots from our last shoot, I must say I can’t wait to see these ones too!

Such a fab shoot, easily recommended and I’m looking forward to our next one :D

Martin booked on to my studio day at Maximus Photographic and it was a really lovely afternoon.

He is very respectful and laid back, having breaks after each set to review the images. He also let me look through the images to mark my favourites and give input on whether we could improve the set, which always makes for a true collaboration :)

Was a pleasure working with him and hope to work together again in the future!

I worked with the lovely Martin again just before Christmas- this time with my lovely friend Soria working as a duo at my home.

Working with another model I always find more challenging but its for this reason then I try to push myself out of my usual comfort zone of working solo! :) Martin and I had worked together before and we always have such great banter on the shoot.

Martin is super creative, fun and is a very endearing- if a slightly bonkers character to be around (I know, I am a fine one to talk!) We achieved many beautiful photos in the time together and I look forward to the uploads!

The day didnt go quite to plan for various reasons but I was very impressed with Martins cool, calm and collected approach and we made the very best of the day together! :) He is a lovely person- a cheeky so and so but always makes me laugh!

Highly recommended and I look forward to what 2018 brngs us!

I worked with the lovely Martin again on a full day shoot and had an absolute blast!! It had been 6 months since our last shoot and it was so good to catch up- we started exactly from where we finished! :) The shoot was full of laughter, banter, great images and general madness!

This time I persuaded Martin to come along with me to a ruin I know in Wales, where we shot a gorgeous array of fashion to art nude images in the grounds (and the weather was just right!) The final half of the shoot was spent at my home, exploring the natural light left of the day.

I absolutely loved the images we achieved together on the day and really look forward to the uploads! Martin is such a fun character to work with- kind, funny, charming and very professional. We both have a barmy sense of humour and got on very well! :P I really enjoyed Martins company and really look forward to our next shoot which will be in November! :P

Highly recommend...Martin is a really lovely guy...Martin is incredibly fun, down to earth, really easy going, chatty, a proper (Martin is going to hate me using this word haha) gentleman and has such a unique personality. If you get chance to work with the lovely Martin...definitely do it!

This was my first shoot with Martin, we shot at Spitfire Studio.

Pre-coms were great, I knew exactly what he wanted to achieve. He gave loads of direction to help achieve the images he wanted.

I would highly recommend Martin to work with.

I had an amazing shoot with Martin today for a few hours at Scorpion Residence in Northampton. Martins pre comms were excellent and he was so kind to change times last minute when I made an error with the booking.

Martin was so relaxed, engaging and made for fantastic company. He is a competent photographer and he captured me beautifully, I loved the images on the back of the camera and I thoroughly enjoyed our shoot.

He comes highly recommended from me and I hope we get to shoot together again :)
