I'd been using photography to assist me with my career as a photo retoucher, primarily products and packshots. It wasn't until being made redundant from a fine art publishing company did I discover I wanted to pursue photography with more intent.

I found my passion in photographing people, initially portraits and headshots, leading on to weddings and corporate events. This got me to pick up a regular gig with a fitness magazine doing editorial images with the occasional feature. From this base I have been able to venture into other areas which interest me. 

I don't like to think that I specialise but portraits are a favourite as I really enjoy the interaction I'm able to get with my subject. Having paid gigs allows me to do the TF work that I just find interesting. I'll photograph almost anything if it is interesting. If I've not done much of a particular style, I'll probably be up for doing it TF.
