Hi, thank you for checking out my profile.
I have recently upgraded to a full-frame canon 5d Mk III and have a range of lenses, from wide-angle (12mm) to telephoto (400mm). My favourite lens is my 50mm, excellent for portraiture.
I've been interested in photography since studying it for A-Levels, and have ventured into mostly architectural (my professional field), bird and wildlife, still life, and nature genres. I'm a big fan of colours and textures and the contrast that can be created with them. I like to capture birds or people in a 'voyeur', natural style. Most of my photos of buildings end up being of different bricks or macro materiality, with different textures and contrasts between nature and man-made.
I'm looking to work more in portrait photography, which is a new area for me. I enjoy 'in the moment' style photography, which is the style I would like to explore.
Based in the Midlands - Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire area.
Other than photography, I enjoy drawing, painting, fishing, birdwatching, running, and tennis.
