Another fun and successful shoot, in spite of a doorbell that never seemed to stop ringing (though small wonder, as Arthur is such a nice guy he deserves to be popular). As before, the preparation and direction were excellent, and from the previews I saw the results will be fantastic. Not to mention that Arthur was, as before, the most kind and considerate of hosts. Thoroughly recommended, and I hope to shoot with him again ere long. xxx :)

I contacted Arthur with a very specific and rather demanding brief (a Suicide Girls photoset) and he rose to the occasion magnificently. A joy to work with; kind, considerate, and full of good ideas. I thought it would be a struggle coming up with enough poses to make a complete set, but Arthur was a superb director, and his home studio setup had loads of potential and excellent lighting (The images he showed me all came out beautifully). All in all, a hugely positive experience, and I would love to shoot with him again.

Arthur is just the perfect Gentleman, making sure that I felt comfortable was his highest priority and it made the shoot go smoothly and quickly. Arthur knew what worked and was able to easily direct me to get the picture he wanted. I felt instantly warm towards him, he was very friendly and easy to talk to.

I really liked that he had images of what he wanted so he could show me what he wanted to achieve.

He also has some really interesting and unique props, it was a very enjoyable shoot :)

Artemis Fauna

I worked with Arthur last week for two hours during my studio day at Curiosity.

Arthur was on time, full of energy and enthusiasm! Arthur is a regular at the studio so knew his way about no problem. He knew what images he wanted from the time and bought a lot of inspiration images.

Arthur directed me a lot more than most photographers do- but was also happy when I posed freely too- throwing in a few of my own shapes and ideas. I feel we worked well together and Arthur seemed very happy indeed with the images and how the shoot went.

I am hoping Arthur may pay me a visit at my own studio some time soon and we can once again, create some more super images.

It was a great pleasure meeting Arthur yesterday, and to have him bring me right up-to-date with the latest studio lighting equipment. He also sorted out a problem I was having with my particular camera ! A very useful guy to know, and I have invited him to "stick around" next Saturday when I have a shoot at "Curiosity" with the wonderful Artemis Fauna. He readily accepted. Thanks Arthur.

I had the pleasure of working with Arthur again at Curiosity Studios again recently and I cannot say enough positive things about this lovely gentleman!

Arthur really only can be described as a gentleman as he's all about making the model feel comfortable and safe. He has a wonderful eye for lighting and detail and is full of creative, exciting ideas. A storyteller, Arthur is very clear in communicating what kind of story he's trying to tell with him images prior to shooting and gives excellent direction during to ensure he gets the very best image possible.

He's incredibly kind, very polite and respectful, always punctual and full of interesting stories and photographical information. We have plans to work together regularly in the future and I can say hand on heart that I absolutely love working with him! His images are always gorgeous and his edits even more so.

I'd recommend this lovely gentleman highly and can't thank him enough for some really lovely and memorable shoot experiences. Thank you so much Arthur! I can't wait for the next one!

What a wonderful shoot! I had my first shoot with this true gent, hopefully another in the near future!

Arthur was fantastic, he had tonnes of great ideas and the Curiosity studios he works in is such a wonderful space.

We got in a variety of sets and looks in the few hours I was there. From what I seen on the back of the camera, I am chuffed. He is a very talented photographer. Great knowledge in lighting and knows how to set the scene to create truly stunning works. I look forward to seeing the images bigger.

He gave great direction during the shoot and was friendly and made me feel comfortable straight away, the time just flew by.

I would definitely recommend Arthur and Curiosity Studios :)

Arthur was absolutely wonderful to work with. He is a really funny guy with a great attitude to photography. He knows what he wants to achieve in each image and he can give precise directions on how to get his desired result to make it just perfect. We achieved a few styles in a very short time and the time flew by it was so enjoyable.

He also has a great outfit and prop selection to choose from which is always a bonus!

I really enjoyed my shoot with Arthur and if you have any knowledge of physics or the natural world, you can have a really in depth conversation with someone who knows their stuff! ;)

I had the pleasure of shooting with Arthur yesterday and what can I say? He's an absolute gentleman!

Having collaborated via PP for some weeks (his pre shoot comms are fab, including reference images, regular emails and clear directions on what he's looking for), we arranged to meet at Curiosity Studios in Treorchy to shoot.

Softly spoken, considerate, funny and awfully kind, Arthur was very welcoming and I felt completely at ease in his company within about a minute flat! An award winning photographer for obvious reasons, Arthur is very patient and great at giving directions in order to get the best possible shot, whilst also allowing and actively encouraging creative input from the model. He thankfully didn't seem to mind that I brought three bags worth of possible outfits and props with me...

Arthur kindly gave me the grand tour of the studio before we began to make sure I was settled, ensured I was warm, comfortable and had a good supply of tea throughout the shoot (an essential indeed!) and made sure to show me the shots he'd taken as we worked through the sets so I could see what worked and what didn't. He brought along plenty of reference images to show me the kind of look he was after and was keen to make the best use of the studio time by getting as many different looks and styles as possible (which I always love as it's more fun!). We also explored some ideas outside of what he'd originally wanted and I had great fun jumping into a birdcage, playing with swords and swooshing around in a cape like a big kid - again, thankfully Arthur was more than happy to indulge me!

The time just flew by and I really enjoyed Arthur's company. Very talented and able to nail the ideal shot first time, he has a great eye for detail and although I haven't seen the finished images yet, from what he showed me on the camera and of his previous work, I know I'm going to love them!

I certainly hope I'll be working with this utterly lovely gent again and I would recommend him to anyone 100%!

Shooting with Arthur at Curiosity Studios was a pleasure. Pre shoot comms were perfect, the studio has divine features and I felt completely at ease throughout. I'm a big fan of the gothic scene so working here was great :) Already speaking about our second shoot, shooting with Arthur is very laid back and I look forward to it. Recommended!

Arthur arrived to Curiosity studios a little early which was great as we could start early. He was prepared with lots of ideas and a laptop full of photographs to show me for inspiration. The shoot was different from what I usually model and it was great fun to try something out of my comfort zone. He knows exactly the shot he wants and makes subtle changed to the pose or lighting to get it as right as possible in camera, because of this he is patient and careful when setting up the shot but doesn't take long to get what he had in mind.

Arthur is lovely and professional and a joy to work with, he has sent me two images already from our shoot and they're brilliant. Thank you so much, hope to work with you again soon :)

This is the second time I have used this studio and I find the owners Christine and Preston to friendly and helpful and the studio Days are well orangise and the coffee not bad either
