Artemis Fauna

I had a great couple of hours with Dionne last week on a remote shoot at Fauna Towers!! I think this was Dionne's second remote but you couldn't tell! She bossed it!!

We had a rough outline of what we wanted to achieve (leaving room for some 'make it up as you go along' moments) and wow, we had a great time!!! Super to catch up, chat and get some lovely images. Adored the head shots!

As has been said all along, remote shoots are not a replacement for 'in person shoots' but, as has been proved now over and over- they are a fabulous and creative alternative while we are unable to shoot face to face.

Excited to see more results from the shoot and hoping, of course to work with Dionne again in the future, and one day- in person when I'm on tour!

You cant miss Dionne... when she arrives to a shoot its in a flurry of smiles and energy...completely infectious!

This was my first time shooting with her and I hope it wont be the last. It's absolutely clear that she loves photography which makes working with her so easy as the whole shoot is a collaboration on ideas. Obviously lots of tea and Haribos were consumed and I had such a great time shooting with her. I really hope this isn't the last time and I can recommend her without hesitation!

I had yet another wonderful shoot with Dionne! This time we had Richard Egan along for the ride. SO what an amazing shoot that was for me - 2 of my favourite photographers and some incredible locations that Dionne took us too!

Dionne is one of my favourite people ever and it never feels like work when shooting with her! She is so passionate, so full of enthusiasm and super talented! She is always considerate and makes an effort to make sure her models are comfortable, fed and watered!

Dionne has so many wonderful ideas and she also listened to any suggestions I had. In a day we managed to shoot so many incredible sets and I am so so proud to be a part of those images !! :D The entire day was full of wonderful conversations and lots of laughter! We had a ball! If only I could shoot with Dionne every week! :D

I can certainly recommend Dionne, she was so welcoming, friendly, enthusiastic and easy to work with! She came armed with bags of fabulous clothing and accessories which were so stunning (and she brought sweet treats too!), and we worked through a range of looks and outfits using my things as well.

Really fun, professional, sweet and has a great energy! Lots of ideas for future so I hope they'll be a next time. Until then thank you and I adore the images we created!

I had my first shoot with Dionne recently and I have to say it was by far one of the best, most memorable shoots ever!! I LOVED IT!! 


Dionne is one of the loveliest people ever!! Very close to our shoot date I had been part of a real tragedy which did impact me - Dionne could not have been more understanding and helpful! She was happy to reschedule if need be and was so supportive!!

Our shoot came, I arrived with Dionne the night before as we were leaving early! Dionne Kindly picked me up from the station and cooked me a lovely dinner whilst I played board games and barbies with her two adorable daughters. Her entire family welcomed me into their home which was lovely!

The shoot itself was hilarious and brilliant! It was a bit chilly and VERY windy!! SO Windy Dionne was blown over whilst walking! But we persisted! And thank god we did! The wind assisted in creating some incredible movement in the shots!

Dionne was very quick and efficient when shooting as she was really aware of the elements and did not want me to get too cold! She was very aware of my wellbeing and made a conscious effort to make sure I was happy at all times! After the beach we had a wonderful shoot at the top of a hill (She did tell me the proper Scottish name, but I forgot) - and a wonderful indoor location Dionne had previously scouted!

So we really got an amazing range of images over the 4 hours! Amazing how much we fit it! And it did not feel rushed at all - in fact it felt very relaxed!! Probably helped by the fact Dionne is so easy to get on with and chat with!

As a photographer she is just wonderful! She has a brilliant eye for shots! Her compositions were just beautiful and she really works hard to get the images she wants!! She will also listen to the models suggestion which only reinforces her respect for her models.

I think she is FANTASTIC in every way and I would highly recommend her!!! Hope we get to shoot again soon!! :D

Had a great shoot with Dionne in the studio with John . Dionne was pleasure to work with , lovley person ad a fab sense of humour . Dionne bought a selection of outfits allowing a range of styles from soft and sensual to attitude . We got through a variety of lighting set ups and Dionne adapted to each one , working quickly and once we got the shot just moved on . Seeing the back of the camera made me super excite and cant wait to see the edits . Thanks for an awesome afternoon . Jessica x

Where do I start? Dionne is incredible! She’s arrived at my home to shoot with what available day light we had left, as she was here on a trip and the shoot was last minute, but she was very professional, on time and kept me updated with regular messages. pre comms were absolutely fab, and she is such a lovely bundle of joy to work with! I had an amazing shoot last night and she is highly highly recommended by me! Dionne has great ideas when it comes to photography and each shot she produced was breath taking. I had such a laugh and felt I got on great with her.

Dionne was kind enough to message me shortly after I opened a casting about a recent trip to Dundee. Her communication with me was direct, polite and clear. We discussed details of arranging a studio shoot for 4 hours with herself and another photographer John McNairn. We tied up all loose ends in good time and had a good idea of what we all had in mind to shoot.

On our arrival at the studio Dionne was ready, eager and friendly making myself and partner Kris feel instantly welcome and through the duration of the shoot she also ensured our wellbeing was taken care of and was generous enough to provide snacks and drinks.

When working I found Dionne to be incredibly enthusiastic and gave great direction and feedback. I found this assuring and often very amusing! Futhermore, she was kind enough to bring some beautiful pieces from her clothing collection for us to work with.

I would highly recommend Dionne. An artist with a very strong eye for shape and form and with great respect for her models.

It would be an honour and a privilege to work with her again in the future.

I had an absolutely fabulous shoot with this lady!! She can shoot the most beautiful portraits, fashion images, nudes. Her styling ideas are brillianté and I enjoyed the whole few hours!! stunning images, great company and chat, I highly recommend her!

I worked with the lovely Dionne alongside her friend John McNairn on a recent Scottish tour and absolutely LOVED it! It was our first time working together, so I am always a little nervous (plus shock horror, its not often I get to shoot with female photographers!! :P ) but needn't have been as Dionne from the offset is so easygoing, kind and respectful (plus great fun!!).

We started off in the studio creating beautiful shapes with a mixture of Johns fantastic lighting skills and Dionne bought along some wonderful clothesfor me to wear (and Haribo!) We then headed down to the beach where I was very brave (or crazy, you decide which!) to have a (skinny) dip in the sea for the final shots! It was crazy warm for Scotland and actually surprisingly warm(ish) in the sea- I had a great time and went away smiling from ear to ear! Really looking forward to seeing the photo uploads which looked beautiful on back of the camera!

I shot with Dionne and John McNairn on my recent Scottish tour.

Dionne is very friendly, full of energy, enthusiasm and ideas and so easy to work with.

We shot at one woodland location using many of the natural props and trying to avoid passers-by!

Dionne is organised (she had a bag full of snacks!!) and respectful. Love the results I have seen so far from our shoot.

Definitely recommended by me and hope we can work together again in the future! :D

I had a wonderful time shooting with Dionne a couple of weeks ago alongside Tim Pile. Dionne is such a warm, friendly and all round lovely lady. She is just such a pleasure to be around, such great enthusiasm and energy and it really does bring such a great atmosphere to the shoot.

Dionne although new to art nude photography is a natural, she has a brilliant eye and can spot beautiful angles and compositions with ease. She is a fast learner, once shown something she doesn't forget it and what's more will develop creatively develop ideas and make them her own. Dionne is also very conscientious and aware of the models needs and comfort, this is always nice!!

I had a really wonderful time shooting with Dionne, she is a lovely person who has a real talent for art-nude photography and capturing beauty in her images. The results I have seen so far look gorgeous, I am delighted with them, I highly recommend Dionne!!

I worked with Dionne on an art nude workshop hosted by John McNairn back in November. It wasn't a 1-2-1 shoot but I remember Dionne very well as she was super friendly and lovely to work with. :) She complimented me a lot and gave me great positive feedback- her images also looked super! Clearly a quick learner with a very good eye!
