I help people fall in love with Photography by teaching them to use their cameras, studio lighting and editing software.

Specialising in portraits, I teach studio and location based lessons from my studio in Honiton, Devon. 

I'm also currently building an online course with all my sessions recorded, assignments, worksheets and more. 

Since 2012 I've been photographing and teaching people and have gained qualifications in photography, teaching, digital marketing and more. I aim to learn something new every day that will help me teach all of my lovely customers.

One to One Tuition

I offer the following 1-2-1 tuition sessions over 3 hours:

How to use your camera and the basic principles of photography

How to use the studio - either at my studio or I'll help you get set up in your space. 

How to use Lightroom Classic to edit your photos

How to use Photoshop CC to edit your photos

Kickstart your photography career

3 Hour tuition sessions are £139 if you come to me or £169 plus fuel if I come to you. 

Additional hours of tuition are £45 and both session lengths are tailored to exactly what you need to learn.

New Model Tuition

I offer a basic tutorial for new models who want to learn about self promotion, safety, networking, professionalism, symbolism with posing and expression, how to work with studio lighting set ups, posing yourself, portfolio building and more. Three hours is £139 at my studio location. You will also get images from the session.

Ongoing Mentoring Service

Regular support for learning photographers is available via my mentoring service, we use zoom to converse and I'll build your session plans based on your needs and experience level, set homework tasks to work on and get you in the right mindset to improve your photography. We also learn to critique images with the formal elements of photography in mind. Much like this image critique on my youtube channel.
