I am a freelance makeup artist based in west sussex in the uk, i have previously worked for mac cosmetics, but now work for myself specializing in editorial and wedding makeup. 

Im interested in the chemistry of makeup, i like to know how ingredients interact and how they affect the skin, as such i also believe by reading the ingredients of a product you should be able to understand how it will perform and how you can use it before even trying it!

My kit contains a variety of brands ranging from high end to drugstore, the cost of the product isn't my main focus, its how it works and the quality of the ingredients and how they interact with other products in my kit.

My rates

Day - £210

Half day - £150

Hourly - £35

Now you might be asking what do u get for this? Makeup is my life, unlike some other makeup artists, I have been learning and honing my skills for years, when I'm on set I'm yours, I'm not texting a friend, I'm not on Facebook I'm working!

Your getting my extensive kit, this is something I have been building for the past six years, I have been trying new things out I have been testing products under different lighting conditions and with different skin tones, I use high end professional brands like RCMA, M.A.C, Illamasqua, Nars, Eve Pearl, Estée Lauder, Chanel, Smashbox, MILK, Jeffree Star and many more.

I keep my kit hygienic, disposable applicators are used for every model and client, I shouldn't need to say that, but you would be shocked how many makeup artists don't have good hygiene practices, products are sterilised before and after clients.

I'm trained to know about allergens, my kit is nut and gluten free, I can tell you the ingredients of any of my products incase you or your model have an allergy or have had a previous reaction.

I can also turn my kit vegan, most but not all of the brands I use are cruelty free and vegan,

If this is needed I can adapt my kit and make sure your comfortable with all products in it.

One of my specialitys is working with skin, one of the things I love to do is to keep skin looking real, even if im creating a flawless finish I still keep it real allowing some texture and different shades to be shown, this helps images to look less faked and edited even tho we know they have been :)
