Finally after four years in the making, I had the great pleasure of shooting with Jon. He travelled quite a distance which I very much appreciated and arrived absolutely on time. We had a lot of detailed communication leading up to the day with a chance for us both to have input and so we had plenty of choices to work through.

After coffee we made a start and Jon made excellent use of the natural light here. He has a good eye for detail and gave very precise direction which made all the difference and regular reviewing of images between us enabled him to ensure the best angle and overall result.

Jon is a great photographer, lovely to chat with and clearly enjoys and knows his camera. For me, I hope it’s certainly less than four years until we shoot again as I highly recommend shooting with him.

Jon is one of the loveliest, respectful photographers I have come across, easy to get on with and good mood board ideas, and contributions to the shoot.

Always love a challenge and very good at adapting to various equipment and back up equipment.

This is now my 5th shoot with Jon and what can I say I love working with Jon, he has such a creative mind always comes up with some great ideas and he’s easy to bounce your own ideas off too. Jon is great fun, his shoots are relaxed and respectful Jon is very professional and the images are fantastic every time. Jon is a tasteful creative photographer and always have clear ideas about the project he likes to create. Pre-comms with Jon are always great and he will send you ideas on Pinterest and gives you the concept of his shoot.

Having met Jon a few times previously I had no hesitation asking him to join Purpleport member Anezka and myself on the bridal shoot we put together.

Jon arrived as Anezka was being made up and he got stuck in taking the behind the scenes shots, I really appreciated that as it enabled me to attend to other details.

At the shoot venue his expertise and great personality shine as he worked different backdrops, seeing different scenes and directing where necessary.

Jon has been something of a regular to the bodyscape shoots I have hosted and he brings an energy and creativity to each. Not only did he put a slightly different slant on his photography with his little characters he bought but he loaned his camera to one of the other photographers as his camera was incompatible with the lighting, top notch chap, it’s always good bro see you Jon. Highly recommended.

A fantastic first shoot with Jon, highly professional and respectful. Jon was excellent in his concepts and ideas before the shoot. The set up and execution of his equipment, directing and lighting was amazing. We was able to achieve so many artistic images. Highly recommended and will be shooting again soon.

I had a fantastic shoot with Jon this week and thoroughly enjoyed every second of working and chatting with him. We had communicated in detail before the shoot so I was well prepared and excited to shoot Jon's ideas. He works in a manner which is right up my street being meticulous about detail and working to ensure we nailed every image. Jon is a great photographer with a real eye for creative and technical detail and from what I saw on the back of the camera we have produced some fantastic images. In addition though, Jon is one of the loveliest photographers I've ever had the pleasure of working with, we probably spent way too much time chatting but he is so personable and easygoing I could've talked all day!! Thank you Jon for being a superstar and I very much hope we get the opportunity to work together again soon.

I was assistant to a recent bodyscape that Jon attended and despite him being a Canon user he did alright LOL, seriously though, Jon is a very proficient photographer and was at ease with the low light setup and making slight adjustments where and when necessary. His direction of the model was respectful and insightful as he used the props available to him to add extra interest to his images.

I hope I get the opportunity to work alongside him again soon. Highly recommended.

Had my 3rd shot with Jon my choice this time a bit of the 20s one of my favourite eras. As usual Jon’s pre comms were excellent love bouncing ideas around with Jon he has a great eye for what makes a fantastic image. I had the pleasure of meeting and shooting with Jon. He was so nice to work with, very pleasant and chatty. The pre-shoot communication was excellent and we agreed on the theme and swapped the important info. Jon put a lot of effort into the shoot including creating a mood board for inspiration. He decided on using smoke granades for the first time ever. The shoot was very relaxed and fun trying to work out where the smoke would go. Throughout the shoot, Jon had a very clear idea what he wanted to achieve. I really enjoyed myself and would be more than happy to work with Jon again.

Just had a wonderful first shoot with Jon! Pre-shoot comms were excellent; he sent some awesome ides ahead on mood boards. We shot some amazing silhouette and evening gown looks, whilst he worked to create different shots. Jon was extremely fun, polite and professional - very much enjoyed working with him and created some awesome images.
