I had a really cool, relaxed first shoot with Finlay.

We did a gothic-ish outdoor shoot in the park and he was kind enough to offer his umbrella as a prop. I found him to be polite and respectful at all times, and I felt comfortable in his company. He was full of ideas for shots but also let me do my own thing which was a nice balance.

I'm really excited for the images and I would definitely recommend working with Finlay to anyone. Thanks again for a great shoot!

Fantastic shoot with Fin yesterday. We had lots of fun in the studio and as per the last shoot, Fin was full of ideas and brought great costumes for me to adorn including a very special tiara. Fin is a super creative photographer and really goes the extra mile to make the shoot special. I even got to smash a vase on the floor in 'anger' 😅 not everyday you get to do that but it was great fun. Fin is easy to work with, very gentle in his approach to directing and definitely knows what he wants and how to achieve it. Thanks again Fin.

Had my first shoot with Fin in October, it was arranged as a shoot with two other models. Things didn't quite go as planned with one model unable to make it and the weather being quite windy but despite feeling like things were against us we managed to pull it off and im really impressed with the results. Me and Fin drove to the beach in my car, it was the first time meeting and I felt instantly comfortable with him. We had some great chats and were determined to have a great shoot on the beach. And we did! He knew what he wanted and he put lots of effort in to pull it off. I'd love to work with him again on another project as I felt we worked well together and both have lots of creative ideas! Highly recommend to any model:)

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Fin last week in Glasgow!

Fin booked me for a three hours shoot during my UK tour and what a lovely few hours we had!

Pre-shoot comms were great, we discussed locations and possibilities, and Fin found a lovely park that was easy to reach for both of us.

Fin is such a lovely human and good conversationalist, the shoot went smoothly and we got some really lovely results!!

Wholeheartedly recommended, looking forward to see the finished images!

Worked with Fin twice now. Our first shoot was a 1 2 1 in a beach and the second one a group shoot project for his college course. Both were very fun a creative shoots. Fin has a very clear idea of what he wants to get out from the shoots and his communication is great, always with a hint of fun! He is professional and goes beyond the mile to achieve his ideas! Great fun, polite and highly recommended as photographer!

He is always prepared for adversities too! (Tea flask was a nice touch)

Had a beautiful shoot with Fin, on the wild coast of west Scotland - despite the cold, the locations he had chosen were just breath taking, added to the Celtic/heathen feel we had planned for.

We shot a suitably medieval style smock portrait, on the rocks in the water, with a rather impressive sword; some expressive shots against black rock; a mix of ethereal/tribal styles with a burning stick (which F had expertly crafted) and moody skies, then finished with a gorgeous witchy set, close to the castle area. The pictures are beautiful!

Fin is lovely, friendly, great to chat to, artistic and very respectful - would highly recommend to all models and creatives.

Had a really great shoot with Finlay L Lavery during my Glasgow Tour at my Hired Apartment.

Pre-communications we’re great and Finlay put so much time and effort into planning our shoot. He even sourced some really cool attire for me to wear for the shoot. As well as photography Finlay is really good at styling and has a really good eye for what works together.

On the day of shooting Finlay was prompt and ready to shoot. He was really chilled and easy to talk to and work with. The shoot flowed and we had the perfect balance between my posing and Finley’s direction.

Finlay is so focused and put so much effort and attention into our shoot and I really admire his work ethic.

More than recommended! Can’t thank him enough for such a great shoot.

Fin is easy going, a good laugh and great at giving ideas and direction. Since I've known him he's coming on leaps and bounds, his editing skills are top notch and the photography he's producing is getting of a higher standard all the time.
