Although mainly I shoot mainly for my underwear retail business deadgoodundies.com it's sometimes nice to set up shoots just for the sheer pleasure of the creation process, from the initial planning, communicating my vision of the final shots with the booked models and finally the pinnacle being the actual shoot itself.

All shoots are conducted in my air conditioned studio (unless of course it's a location shoot) and on a side note it has been mentioned that I make a good cup of coffee.

I always show the upmost respect to any models that are booked and make it a priority that they are always within their comfort zone on a shoot.

PAID VS TFP

PAID

If the photos that we are taking will be used commercially in the promotion of our business then of course we expect that the model will require payment as per the rates that they specify at the time of booking

TFP

For shoots outside the commercial confines of DGU then I am more than happy to collaborate on a TFP basis on any project or if the model works only on a payment basis then payment will be made as per their rates at the time of booking. 

All models will be required to sign a Model Release form and provide 2 forms of identifcation

TRAVEL COSTS

If the booked model is outside 30 mile radius of Shrewsbury we are happy to cover travel costs @25p per mile travelled.
If further than 50 miles from Shrewsbury we can provide a pre-paid Train ticket via trainline so that the model can arrive relaxed and ready to shoot without the hassle and stress of dealing with car travelling/traffic hold ups etc.

CHAPERONES

Whilst ideally I prefer not to have others present at a shoot I do appreciate the need for safety especially for a 1st shoot where the model has not met me before so has no gauge of trust, so a chaperone is welcome if it is essential as long as they don't interfere with the shoot. They can be present in the studio where they will have access to free wifi and can catch up on their latest favourite film/tv show if so required.  

IMPORTANT

If I'm booking a model for a product shoot for use in deadgoodundies then please bear in mind that I am working to a deadline and time wasters, last minute cancellations etc. won't be tolerated.
For business reasons when we find a good model we stick with them for at least 1-2 seasonal collections which means regular bookings.
