Lanter Bugs are rather strange and beautiful insects from tropical rain forests , always beautifully marked and patterned , often with wonderful comoflarge as in the species , they shine a light at night to attract a mate , like fireflies , but the light is generated from the head and is much larger and brighter and shines for a longer period , upper River Uaupes , Norther Brazil , one of my favourite insects ,
