Hello,
As you have probably gathered my name is David and I'm an amateur photographer based in North Wales. I started my photography journey in 2012 when I bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D1200, for the next few years I dabbled a bit with out ever really taking it seriously as a hobby or something I could enjoy. A little over 2 years ago I upgraded my camera to the D7100 and purchased the Sigma 150-600mm and I thought, well If l'm going to spend this kind of money on the equipment I better start learning how to use it properly, and that what persuaded me to join the Welshot group and since then I have had the chance to try many different aspects of photography from macro to landscapes, street photography and portraits, Ive been enjoying it so much, learning and developing new skills, recently Ive been concentrating on portait photography and building a portfolio joining Purple port is the next step on my journey.
