There’s something about the generation before mine that is just pure, and authentic. A generation where I am able to connect with them on so many levels. That’s something I felt with David.

My recent shoot with David was an extremely pleasant one. David collected me from the station and we drove to his beautiful home where I met David’s wonderful wife, Josephine.

The day was so beautiful.

David is a highly intelligent fellow and a very proud man. We had a great day together on location and around his home and I left the shoot feeling so incredibly relaxed.

I can not recommend David highly enough and if you would like a glorious, dreamy day in David and Josephine’s world then I highly recommend shooting with him.

David is a true gentleman. He is kind, witty, charming, and incredibly interesting.

I look forward to shooting with David again soon.

Had a lovely time with David at Beltcraft with Elle Beth - such a nice guy to work with and we chatted plenty. He brought with him a beautiful vintage dress and we created some gorgeous images - would recommend anyone to work with him! Thanks David :)

David and I had conversed at two other events where we weren't working together and promised we would arrange something for the future, and we did!

David invited me to shoot with him at his wonderful home. His lovely wife Josephine made sure I was fed and watered with plenty of goodies and tea!

David and I spent most of the day talking and getting to know each other in between taking some great shots in some of David's shooting wardrobe,

My second shoot with David: this time at the beautiful Maunsel House. David is probably the most laid-back photographer I know; he's full of laughs and stories, so the shoot is never dull! David has a good eye for styling and light, which resulted in some beautiful images. David is genuine, kind and I have no reservations about recommending him to others.

I spent the day with David last month at the beautiful location that is Maunsel House. Firstly, David's pre-shoot communication is excellent! he is very organised so I knew what the plan for the day was going to be. He is very fun to shoot with, great stories to tell, chilled-out and a complete gentlemen. We got some lovely images, and the whole day flew by! I would happily work with David again, and recommend him to others. Great company, and highly professional throughout the day. Thanks for such a lovely day David! I do hope our paths cross again sometime soon.

I shot with David for a full day earlier this week during my Kent tour. Almost three years had passed since the last shoot (and the last time I was touring that way!)

We spent a lot of the day talking and catching up- shooting a mixture of ideas and genres inside as the weather had decided to be awful that day!

David and Josephine made sure I was fed and watered throughout the whole day- even giving me a delicious lunch with freshly made bread and cakes!!

I enjoyed the shoot and hope to work with David again- either up my way or next time I am down his way. Thank you David :)

Roswell Ivory

I worked with David again during my recent visit to Kent and can certainly recommend him- he's friendly and very interesting to talk to, which makes shooting great fun! He picked me up from Canterbury so we could shoot outdoors there and then we drove back to his house for fashion and nude.

His very lovely wife provided yummy food and conversation too- and I have always felt welcome!

Pre-shoot communications were great and I knew what to bring and where to be.

I worked with David on my second trip to Kent in so many weeks, when David kindly booked me for another day during my second tour! As usual the day was so lovely, at a very relaxed pace. I was very well looked after with plenty of tea breaks and Davids kind wife Josephine put together a delicious feast for lunch which I really enjoyed.

David and Josephine are great company, very interesting and knowledgeable to talk to and I really enjoy their company. The weather was also beautiful on our shoot so we hopped down to Folkestone beach for a few portraits! I had a lovely day and looking forward to a shoot in the New Year. Hihgly recommended and speak soon x

I have worked with David a handful of times now and always greatly enjoy our shoots, as its rather like spending a day with a friend. It is always very relaxed and David looks after the model very well, offering breakfast and a lovely lunch with himself for a full day shoot. He is great company, fascinating to talk to and very charming and respectful. His home is full of beautiful art and his artistic flair is carried out into his love of photography. I've just come back from the mansel house shoot and I've had a lovely day. David and his wife Josephine were very welcoming and let me stay in there holiday home the night before.

David made sure that I was comfortable at all times, stopping for a tea break when needed. He had some great ideas and was open to any suggestions that I had. Easy to chat too,I recommended to all models.

Had my first shoot with david yesterday - amazing!!! had such a good shoot together and created some amazing images.

David is fun and easy to work with he bought some dresses and came up with some really good ideas throughout the shoot.. I felt 100% comfortable throughout the whole shoot.

2nd shoot with David 23/05/14 it was even more enjoyable than the first shoot! David is a lovely man to work with and has some lovely ideas! We went over to his lovely village church to shoot! We also shot in his lovely back garden too. He always makes sure you have lunch and plenty of tea/coffee! He is a pleasure to talk too and work with! We got some lovely images and overall I had a lovely time! Highly recommend! Hope to work with David again!

I can't believe I have not left a reference for David yet! I worked with David last year and had such an enjoyable day working with him at his home! He is so hospitable and so very friendly and easy to get on with! We took some beautiful images and had some lovely conversations! He also provided a lovely lunch and plenty of tea/coffee. I had such a lovely day and would highly recommend David and I do hope I can work with him again this year!

David booked me for a day down at Studland Bay House. The comms beforehand were excellent, and David was absolutely lovely on the day. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable and the shoot was very productive. I think we produced some good work which I look forward to seeing. Recommended.

My partner and myself had a wonderful shoot with David this weekend while staying at studland bay house. He is very passionate about his work and gave great direction to both of us. His ideas were flowing and he even brought along clothing to suit. comms were spot on too. David made both of us feel very comfortable and that's just some of the reasons why we both highly recommend him!

I had a fabulous day with David whilst I was on my last tour.

He was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off at where I was staying, when we got to his home he was welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. He looked after me very well with drinks and food and was very friendly.

We had a great time working together and I would definitely recommend him.

I had a great evening shoot with Dave when i was in Kent for a week, unfortunately we were unable to fit in a full day shooting, as my schedule was already full, but i would happily work with Dave again. Dave cooked me dinner on arrival - always a bonus! And then we shot a couple of sets, which was very relaxed, and we tried out a range of ideas :)
