Today was my first shoot with Dave, at Millwood studios, he was great, although we didn’t get as long as we liked we worked very well together, and he made me feel comfortable at all times.

Would 100% recommend and would love to shoot again in the future thank you

Attended a charity group shoot organised by Dave at Millwood Studios on the June 2021, I attended as a photographer. Dave had put together a very ambitious programme, matching a large number of models with a large number of photographers in a very organised and ordered manner. Dave's original plan was thwarted by the non-appearance of several models but he was able to think on his feet and hastily re-organise the programme in real time as the day progressed, maximising the shoot time for each photographer. Throughout the day, Dave was always available for advice and also made available for loan several of his own personal pieces of equipment, in particular lights. Very enjoyable day, full marks to Dave, would certainly attend any similar event Dave may organise in the future.

Dave organised a Charity shoot for Mind on Saturday - well done Dave! So not only raised some cash for the Charity but organising us all, a task made all the more challenging by several models and a few photographers cancelling last minute or not showing - Well done Dave with the reorganising! Those that did make it, had great shoots and great fun too!

I was invited by Dave several months ago to attend a charity photoshoot to raise funds for Mind at Millwood Studios in Stalybridge. Comms were first class and Dave was very helpful before and during the shoot. He is a friendly and professional guy and we also managed to get some shots in too in what was such a busy and fast day. Thanks for the invite Dave and I’d be more than happy to attend any other charity events that you organise. Highly recommend and hope to be able to work together again in the near future

I had the pleasure of attending a charity networking event organised by Dave. Dave sent me a lovely invitation to join the event and I eagerly accepted! Dave kindly provided snacks and water for the models and the venue was brilliant with lots of variety. Dave was professional throughout and I felt safe at the event. We even managed to squeeze in a small shoot of our own with the jacuzzi and bar set up. Thanks so much for having me and your kind words of encouragement. It's an A* from me.

I attended Millwood studios today for a charity event organised by Dave and had a great day. He put so much effort into making sure the day run as smoothly as he could and was so hospitable. At all times he was polite and brought a laid back vibe to the day which was very appreciated.

Hope I get to attend another event in the future and work with Dave again as I got to meet a great bunch of people and feel confident whilst doing so. Thanks so much :)

Went to an event dave planned, wow if had such a lovely day is well put together the people involved was lovely there was food and water for the models I thankful to of been involved .. John's great photographer lovely and easy to work with hopefully we get to shoot again in the future

Just got back from a shoot with Northernphotography, obviously not seen pictures yet, but I've had a great time.

Straight away he set out the rules, said he won't touch me, If hair needs moved or anything, he'll ask me to do it, and won't get too close etc..which was nice. He also provided a range of refreshments and a fleece for when I was cold.

Shoot was laid back and fun, he was fun to hang out with while still remaining professional.

He's got some great/wacky ideas.

Highest recommendation from me.

I booked a flight back while the Air Bridge was open and once again I had another amazing shoot with Dave but this time it was at Girl/Girl shoot with Anna. Dave is always an absolute pleasure to work with, very professional and easy to get along with.

I would highly recommend Dave to work with and I look forward to the next time.

Just back from our shoot, what a fab day! Pre shoot planning was really good, I turned up to be greeted with a massive box of food and drinks to keep us all going throughout the day. Throughout the shoot he kept checking I was ok (it was scorchio hot) and that I’d got plenty of water to drink.

All in all we got loads of images and had a great day - would recommend working with him without hesitation

David made me feel comfortable straight away and immediately I was laughing. He has such a wonderful personality and I felt at ease in his company. We shot with two other models at a train station and we shot a 40s/50s style shoot. It was really fun and David was supporting throughout the whole thing. He kindly supplied a variety of food and drink and snack for the day. (I'm vegan and he even had food that suited my dietary requirements)

I definitely recommend and I would be happy to shoot with him in the future!

First time meeting this human dynamo aka Dave aka Northern Photography.

Dave came on our Pure TFP Liverpool 2020 event at the Old Swan Studio, it was a better event for him being there.

Good pre shoot communication, arrived on time and ready to go.

Worked with all models present, supported less experienced photographers.

I look forward to having Dave on future events, I would recommend him to you as a canny photographer = get him booked.

Met Dave in Studio Oldswan in an event for the first time. However, I was there as a photographer but had a quick shoot with him at the end. He was experienced photographer and as I saw the preview of some images; they looked very nice! I enjoyed to work with him and recommend him to work with!
