Amboseli is not what you would call bereft of Elephants, as there are many many herds to be seen and if lucky, photographed. Due to the nature of the soil these are more grey than the red ones of Tsavo. This photo depicts only 3 of a small heard or 15 walking towards water for their morning drink.
