Aurora Violet

The Castle event with six unique models held at the beautiful Plane Castle for the second year running hosted by Candy Heart was amazing and once again a big success.

I enjoyed my second time working alongside David this time during the recent Castle event organised by Candy Heart he attended.

The photographers worked in pairs with half an hour with each model and David worked really well with his paired photographer, they bounced ideas off each other and assisted each other even helping one another with problem solving and making sure the images they wanted were produced. It is very nice to work with photographers during a group event that work well creatively together. Team work. :)

David is very professional, a very lovely person and pleasant to spend your time shooting with.

Highly recommended to all creatives, do not miss out on the opportunity to work with David.

Thank you David it was lovely to see you there, I loved the images we created and I look forward to working together again soon.

Had some.time. with David on my edinburgh tour and it was a fab time shooting!

I thoroughly enjoyed our shoot and we took some.great images

We made great use of the space and the light we had available and he was relaxed and easy to work with.

We worked well as a team made easy by his positive and polite attitude.

Ensured I was comfortable throughout and a joy.to work with.

This was my first time working alongside David who attended an "Introduction to Art Nude on Location" workshop hosted by David P McCarthy. I had the pleasure of being the artistic nude model for the afternoon session and it went so quickly but we had a very productive afternoon.

It was lovely to meet and work with David for the first time, he was very friendly, welcoming and chatty but also listening to David as he tutored and taking everything in.

A very professional and creative minded photographer and a lovely person. David worked very well within the group and was patient when waiting on his turn to take the images he wanted to capture. David captured some beautiful artistic nude images and really enjoyed his day.

I highly recommend David to all creatives.

Female Art Nudes

David recently attended an "Introduction to Art Nude on Location" workshop which I ran, with the model Aurora Violet.

David arrived on time and was a keen participant all day.

Throughout our time together, he listened well, asked appropriate questions and gave me the impression that he learned a lot. During the shooting, he was both respectful and professional towards Aurora, our model, and had plenty of creative ideas that he was keen to try out.

I believe he may well be keen to further progress his experience in this genre and would happily recommend him in this respect.

I worked with David on a Labyrinth themed shoot - what a fun day that was! This shoot was ever so fun, a lot of laughing and chatting too.

David was friendly and talkative, a proper creative soul. Would recommend to all models!

I had an outstanding shoot with David! I’m literally the maddest with myself I can be that I lost track and never managed to send off his reference until now due to Springtime being one of my craziest times this year... He was such a delightful gentleman who went above and beyond to make our shoot a positive experience! One of several that I had during my Spring tour, but certainly a true blast of a shoot and memorable for all the professional stops David pulled to ensure it was an enjoyable session. :)

David’s communications at the start were perfect! I was flitting between emails to coordinate my shoots (as is always a case with tours) but David was patient and understanding from the beginning and kindly offered to collect me/drop me off at Dunfermline station too which helped me in getting from place to place. He’s a very thoughtful and understanding gent who shows a lot of consideration to those he works with. That goes without saying! Then when the day of our shoot came around, David was just a star of the highest order in looking after me and showing the best hospitality at his home studio. :) He made certain I didn’t go hungry, had cups of tea routinely on the go and gave me my own space to change/base my kit. David is a photographer whose thought about all the things which make a shoot that little bit more nicer for a model: he’s got comfort and safety of the people he works with at the top of his priority list and shows impeccable professional etiquette from the word go. On the same note, David is friendly and easy to strike a good social and creative rapport with so you can have a good dose of chit-chat as you work which is nice. :)

We got some gorgeous images created on the day of our shoot... One style after another generated lush results and David had no end of cool ideas to throw into the mix. It was also nice being able to work as a team: David welcomes the input of his models too so you work with each other on the sets to get the variety flowing. I can’t stress enough that David is a genuinely artistically talented photographer, I really had a lovely time working with him and I hope we can do it again in the future. :)
