Wonderful to shoot with Dave after receiving a late cancellation on my Netherlands tour.

Great pre-shoot comms, he arrived on time, had ideas but also took advantage of the space and light in my hotel room, so we could try various different looks and sets.

Conversation was easy and flowed so naturally, he was able to offer invaluable advice while on my Tour and took the time to ensure the shot was right, in-camera.

Professional, respectful but also fun and friendly, our shoot went far too quickly - time really does fly when you are having fun!

Dave booked me during my international tour over to Holland which was to be my first proper tour of the year! I was looking forward to working with people I already knew... But also hoped to meet some new creatives too, and was over the moon when Dave and I started chatting when he saw my casting! :D

I had booked a hotel this time which could be used as a shooting location for something a little different - as well as back up for bad weather on a location shoot! Dave and I got well and truly stuck into discussing about outdoor options (great for me because I adore working on location!) and we hatched a plan in no time at all from when Dave first got in touch. His communications were fantastic and I’m so grateful of good comms which enable you to get things sorted quite quickly, as tours can be bloomin manic to plan at times! X-D Especially if your name is Keira Lavelle and you can’t keep still/stay in one place and are ALWAYS travelling about haha! So yes: Dave had the star rating before we’d even met and I got really good vibes from his messages too. :)

Day of the shoot: Dave turned up mega enthusiastic having found some sites not too far away for us to shoot at!!!! He wasn’t exactly local to where I was staying either so we were both unsure of the immediate area, but full credit to Dave for his detective work! The sites were absolutely awesome too... Ranging from picturesque waterfronts to giant Orca statues. Yup, you heard me right! :P Boooooyyyyy did we get some sensational shots as well! We possibly had some of the most challenging light conditions to work with as it was quite a sunny day with the cloud occasionally sweeping over... Did it phase Dave in the slightest? Nahhhh, he totally slayed it and allowed me to run through my repertoire hanging off fences (or whatever I was doing at a given time) and just managing the light/exposure/composition like a total pro shot after shot. The pictures were beyond beautiful by description!

After faffing around with opportunities outdoors for a while, we then retreated back indoors where we did some UBER creative stuff in the confines of my relatively plain room! This photographer thinks outside the box, this photographer has a stupendous eye for an image... And this photographer smashed equally gorgeous images indoors as we had just done out in the open! :D no joke: sometimes if you start on a high then the buzz might ease if you continue with more conventional ideas later in a shoot - but with Dave the buzz just carried right on till the end with the productive flow that we had going haha! We tired some funky projector work with the lighting (Dave’s idea) and I would have never anticipated in a million years that this was a potential image we could smash at my quaint little hotel.

If you’ve got this far - let me just say that Dave is the nicest, most courteous and lovely gent you could honestly arrange a shoot with in this industry. He’s a “model” photographer. Literally! :P Dave respects the models in every sense to ensure that the environment in which you’re all working is a safe and comfortable one... His etiquette is simply 24 Carat or (bloomin good!) But you can also have a good laugh with Dave as you work and chat a GREAT deal so your shoot is going to have good social value as well as epic pictures. Win-win! :D I genuinely cannot express just how highly I recommend Dave, and I truly hope to get the chance to shoot with him again at some point.

Daveycee is wonderful person.His knowledge about lighting is fantastic. I say he is incredible all round. A great photographer and first of all a great person. we had a great time shooting and created some fantastic shots. Pre communications were good, 100% professional.

I had two hours with Dave booked in an apartment in Netherlands recently! Really enjoyed the shoot and I think we created some unique and stunning images. He was great to collaborate with and behaved professionally and respectfully throughout. Cant wait to see the results and very highly recommended!
