First of all I want to start by saying I've admired Daves work for months on instagram not knowing if hed want to shoot with me. As soon as we met felt like we'd worked together before and right then and there felt mega comfortable. Hes a true artist and so passionate about his work. We had an idea in place for the day so pirate theme it was. I have never worked with a photographer taking my photo with wet plate before but we did take a while to get the perfect shot but so happy we got one that I was blown away by. Very patient photographer and just all round genuine person. Now I know what to expect with the plate canera flash think next time we shoot we will get some more epic shots, hoping Dave would like to work with me again. 110% reccomend working with him. He also has the most amazing house and studio and the cute lil doggo called Willow. Thank you Dave for an incredible first shoot together.

Wow wow wow

I had my first shoot with Dave at his home studio. What an experience, it was like transportation back to Victorian times.

I found Dave on Instagram initially and instantly fell in love with his work, vision and story telling.

Our comms before were great and we put some great ideas together. On the day he had even set out a little plan of ideas so not to forget or miss anything.

After being shown around this treasure trove we got to know each other more with a cuppa and Kitkat. We ended up shooting for 6 hours which just flew by.

Dave is fun, smiley, chatty and quite charming. His eyes light up when he nails the perfect image which is a pleasure to see how much he enjoys what he does.

Treat yourself to a shoot with Dave you will not be disappointed.

Myself and Dave arranged a shoot at his home studio and what a fantastic day! His studio is full of wonders and was super fascinating. I was given tea and biscuits when I arrived and all throughout.

Dave is fab he enjoys talking through what he is doing and is encouraging during the shoot which makes models feel at ease.

I would 1000% recommended Dave and I can not wait to work with him again!!

Dave has got to be one of the easiest and most creative photographers I have ever shot with.

Dave came along on a shoot I had a casting for and he was fantastic!! We were in a stream and he was getting in the water with his camera it was so great to have someone doing what they need to get the shot!

Dave worked with film and was happy to show us how the camera worked and was happy and friendly.

I met up with David a while back for coffee to discuss a shoot that would include potentially wet plates and using antique & vintage cameras. A shoot was then organised after his April exhibition I had the pleasure to see with a special friend.

This was my first trip outside of London for a shoot, on the way to Cambridge.

I was transported into a different world, his studio has a magical feel to it at the back of his wonderful garden of his quaint cosy country house. Surrounded by nature, classical music played. This was an experience so different from any other I have had thus far. In a very good way that goes without saying.

The shots being on old film cameras, may not be seen for a long while, but the experience of working in his studio with such wonderful, rare vintage delightful props and furniture was rewarding on its own.

I hope David got some great images.

Dave is a true gentleman, great company, full of enthusiasm and I hope to continue working with him. And totally reliable.

I have had the pleasure of working with Dave today. I alsolutly love the location- derelict house. What an amazing places with different and interesting backdrops. Dave used both digital and old fashioned camera to shoot the images. The old fashioned camera has been a new experience for me. I had to stay still for some time. Dave was full of ideas. I became an angel and loved it. It has been so nice to shoot with somebody who has a clear vision of what he would like to create. The whole shoot went on so quickly. Before I knew it, it was time to finish. I can't wait to see the images. Dave was very friendly and pleasant and I would be more than happy to shoot with him again.

Dave is an absolut delightful creative, whom I have worked with twice now and each time was fantastic and i cant wait for the next time.

Not only does dave work with digital and he also has a number of film cameras that he works with during shooting, which in my opinion tests the skills of everyone involved.

Myself and Dave shot in his studio which is full to the brim of cameras, props, lights and back drops. Our pre-coms during the run up to the shoot were as flawless as the last time, he sent me a mood board full of images that inspire him in regards to make up, hair and wardrobe so i knew what to bring and how to style the shoot.

Dave is a very professional photographer that has a very unique twist to shooting and printing. We entered the studio and got to work right away, he knew what he wanted, how he wanted it and how to get it shot.

Had the pleasure of working with Dave today. Dave is a complete gentleman extremely professional with exellent communication beforehand. Dave has the most unique and interesting studio a complete cabinet of curiosities. Music played, tea and biscuits flowed. Dave used a mixture of digital, 1940's and the most amazing Victorian camera. I would recommend him to everyone, a lovely and brilliant shoot cannot wait get the pictures.

Dave, hands down is one of the best Togs I've had the pleasure of working with.

Pre shoot comms where brilliant, so much so i felt like we'd known each other years by the time the shoot rolled round.

He's full of ideas and energy, you can't help but throw yourself into the crazy :)

We ended up shooting both digital and film - both having a passion for film, Dave was more than happy to explain the equipment and process to myself.

Time flew by, and we've ended up with some amazing images for the fallen angel set. Very much looking forward to working together again.

Well well well, There is much to be said about Dave...

Dave is simply one of the easiest Photographers I have worked with in my nearly 7 years modelling.

Pre coms... PERFECT! I knew exactly what was wanted from me and we worked tirelessly through our time together working from shot to shot.

Dave worked with three film cameras and one digital witch was a new experience for me, I had worked with film before but nothing like this scale, the cameras were incredibly impressive!

Putting this aside for a moment, Dave was incredible professional making sure I was comfortable and warm throughout, He even provided a small space in the location that was MY privet space.

On a whole Dave respected my space, was highly professional on every level, caught some awesome images and gave direction perfectly.

Wow! What can I say? Apart from one of my most favourite shoots to date! Dave attended our 60's workshop with myself and Belle Eve at the Natural Light Spaces and I absolutely loved it!....

He was instantly friendly and chatty but the thing I really noticed was his enthusiasm, the theme was a favourite of his and you could tell.... he had ideas, props and even the cameras. For an ex photography student it was a dream come true to work in that sort of environment...

We worked through ideas of styles and Dave was interested in getting our styling input and posing etc... It was wonderful to watch him work with the cameras and see the finished product as much as possible...

What a wonderful shoot, Dave is highly recommended by myself and I would not hesitate to work with him again!...

Dave, What a wonderful guy!

Dave joined myself and the beautiful Arabella on our 60's workshop last weekend and god I am glad he did. Dave brought along the most wonderful props for the shoot, including vintage hats, magazines, and cameras. He shot on a massive mix of film cameras (It was bloody awesome)

Communications before the shoot were brilliant, an amazing photographer and just an all round lovely guy to be around.

I highly recommend!!

I had the most amazing shoot with Dave, not only was the communication great leading up to the day but he was incredibly accommodating and approachable. On the day we went for a coffee which straight away put me ease and we discussed what he wanted from me etc. The actual shoot was in the most quaint beautiful building and there were so many possibilities of rooms etc. I had such a great time and it was fun. Dave is so passionate and it shows and I loved his style. Would def recommend and any models if you get the chance to work with this guy, do so.
