Dave was one of the first photographers I shot with in 2020 when I joined purpleport and I just had a long overdue second shoot with him and hope we don’t leave it so long until the next one

Dave is professional, friendly and great at making you feel completely at ease during a shoot

We had a great catch up and he is such a talented photographer who knows his craft

Dave showed up to the shoot with a car full of lighting and his incredible new camera and lens, he knows exactly what to do to get the best images for the setting and the images I am getting back are stunning and I can’t wait to share them!

We already had another shoot planned before we left! Highly recommended by me 😊x

I met and shot with Dave for the first time for a group shoot at Gods Own Junkyard in London, and he was so kind as to give myself and another model a lift there and back, which I am super grateful for.

He seemed very confident with his camera and I felt I could communicate openly with him while we were shooting. I’m very happy with the photos we got together and would happily work with Dave again! :)

I was lucky to shoot with Dave at God's Own Junkyard. It was so nice to work with him and got some great images back. I hope to work with him soon as he is so easy to get along with and super sweet. He was helpful as I am fairly new, which made the shoot go really smoothly. We didn't shoot for very long but I would definitely recommend!

Worked with Dave twice already, both times at group shoots. He really made me feel at easy and we had lots of fun shooting together. The first time he had a whole set of super amazing and professional lights that add a lot to the atmosphere and the pics. Very open to ideas, suggestions and such an easy going dude. Had my first shoot with Dave, was a location shoot. 2 hours flew by so quickly. Every photo he showed me - I kept saying “ohh I love that one!” There was not a single photo I could say something against! Lovely person, great to chat to - takes beautiful images. Communications are 10/10 . Highly recommend !! Cares about what the model wants too. Would love to shoot again :)!!

Dave contacted me after I put out a casting looking for a weekend shoot. Having met Dave at a previous event I was thrilled when he asked to work with me!!! - All his pre comms were great and he gave me a clear idea of some shoot concepts and ideas.

On the day of the shoot he arrived on time with everything he needed for a great shoot. We worked through many different sets including some strong fashion looks, some beautiful art nude in the woodland and around Basford Hurst Cottage, and finished off with a quirky bath time shoot which was a lot of fun!!!

I felt completely relaxed working with Dave, he was very easy to get along with and we had a good laugh throughout the shoot (mainly at my expense haha!).

Dave was very happy to show me the back of the camera throughout and was happy for me to pose freely but also gave plenty of his own ideas. He also shoots from lots of different angles and makes small adjustments to really nail 'that shot'.

I would of course highly reccomend Dave and I very much look forward to working with him again soon! Thank you Dave!!

I worked with Dave recently at a group shoot at Basfordhurst. He made the most of the set up we had there and we got some beautiful images created! A great photographer who's a professional and this all seems second nature to him! I look forward to working with Dave again. Bonus points for the sick ponytail ;)

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Dave came to Basford Hurst Cottage to attend a group shoot organised by Georgia (Matriarchy Events).

It was a pleasure to welcome Dave to Basford for the day. He arrived on time with everything he needed for the day ahead. He worked well with all the models and was always respectful of them and our location. He was happy to ask if he ever needed anything.

We would happily reccomend Dave, he is polite, friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again soon!!

Monday's shoot with Dave was beyond amazing! From the start, his communication was top-notch, providing rides to and from the station. Managed to nab Dave for the last half an hour of a group shoot we both attended a couple of weeks ago. And I’m so glad I did! Within a few days he had already managed to get edits back to all the models he shot with (great turnaround time!) & I’m so pleased with what I’ve had back so far! Easy to talk to & already in discussions for another shoot, super communication! Would highly recommend to other models :)

Dave attended mine and Rob Simpsons 'Informal Lighting' Evening Event recently we ran for a group of photographers at TBG.

I found Dave to be such a lovely, genuine soul, I felt comfortable in his presence and he captured some stunning images of me.

The energy of the shoot was efficient yet relaxed and we shot various areas of the studio with different light set ups. Dave took to it effortlessly and we chatted in between shots easily.

I'd love to work together on either another event or a 121 basis.

I feel I can recommend him to other models.

I had the please of shooting with Dave for the first time at TBG studios in Newmarket. Dave picked me up and took me to the studio to save us both driving which was incredibly kind of him. We arrived on time and straight away got into the swing of things. We did a lot of portrait/upper torso stuff which is my personal favourite style of shooting. We then ventured upstairs to do some more casual style shots on the sofa. We had a lot of fun and Dave is such a fun guy to work with. The photos look great and I hope to work with him in the future! 10/10 recommended!

What an incredible shoot today. Myself and Dave have had a long day shooting at Amanda's caravan in Petersborough. We had amazing precomms just like our first shoot. And Dave is such a gent he came to pick me up and take me home. He is a really genuine photographer who is so skilled not just as a photographer but also has a great sense of humour on our drive there and back, we had a good laugh all day. When we got to Amanda's we were greeted by Jenny who was one of Amanda's helpers for the day and we got help all through out our shoot by Amanda's friends and Amanda herself. The whole shoot from start to finish was amazing. We did a tarot reader look and a variety of headpieces that Amanda had made and two corset looks. So poor Dave had over 900 photos to send to me today. Honestly every time I shoot with Dave the shoots get better and I feel a 100% comfortable with him and would recommend him to any model starting out or pro. Thank you so much for another amazing shoot and can't wait to share our pics on here. Think some of my best work this year 🙂
