References for Dave Buxton

Dave!! What a privilege to work with such a kind, talented and professional photographer. Dave booked me during my stay in Bristol, shooting both in my hotel and outside in the streets of Bristol. It's rare to feel like a photographer totally /gets/ me as a model, my style, motivations etc, but I felt completely on the same wavelength as Dave. He really prioritised my comfort, especially when shooting outside, and I felt like we really worked together to get the best possible shots. Precomms were perfect, and during the shoot he was very enthusiastic and gave positive feedback throughout. Shooting was very relaxed, I was able to pose freely, when needed he gave me some useful directions and we also tried different ideas. I'm overjoyed with the images we got together, they are absolutely stunning and a testament to his talent as a photographer.

It's a pleasure to model for him and I'd be delighted to do so again in future. Highly recommend to any model!

I was able to have a really funky colourful graffiti style shoot with Dave at the end of a group shoot. I could tell right from the get go that Dave is really passionate about what he does and this was reflected in the quality of the images I received. He's very easy to work with and we gelled instantly. Unfortunately distance isn't our friend, but I absolutely would love to work with Dave again and I recommend him with ease.

Had my second shoot with dave recently at a group event. I had already worked with dave briefly so it was great to get a bit more time to work on an image set together. I found dave enthusiastic and fun to work with .. I very much enjoyed out time working in the set and was able to be creative and dark. Very enjoyable and professional experience, I hope for another chance to work together , amber x

I worked with Dave last weekend and honestly couldn't recommend him highly enough.

I was beyond happy with my image previews, and this is raw, (I never like raw images). Dave obviously has an artistic eye and is able to position himself and the camera perfectly to meet the models pose...

Trust me, the talent he has for this is rare.

I felt comfortable throughout the shoot, my levels were respected and never pushed, and Dave was an all round lovely bloke.

Great sense of humour, a massive amount of patience and all in all just a pleasure to work alongside.

I can't wait for the next collaboration, and will be uploading his edits soon.

Seriously though, if you get the chance to work with this photographer, take it.

I'm Newcastle based, and I'm already planning the trek to Bristol to work with him again.

I was lucky enough to work with Dave when a fellow model set up a group shoot day. We shot some solo lingerie in hotel room as well as some fun group shots.

Working with Dave was so easy and fun! He's very talkative and always gives advice and direction if needed.

Lingerie for me is the style I'm most uncomfortable with being a slightly curvy model but the shots I got back from Dave are amazing so happy with them!

Can not recommend Dave enough and am looking forward to working with him again in the near future:)

I had my first shoot with dave on my studio day at Studioonebristol.

Precomms were excellent before the studio day and we had a well established feel to what we wanted to shoot. Dave really put me at ease and was really easy to get along with. We found alot of common ground on what we wanted to achieve and he was brilliant with direction and using angles.

I'm really happy with the shots me and dave achieved and definitely look forward to working with him again. He is very professional but also laid back and easy to get along with and this made the shoot flow perfectly. Definitely recommend

I had my shoot with Dave a week ago today. We organised it via instagram and he had very good communication so i knew what i was doing. When me and mum arrived at the shoot we got a very warm welcome and a talk-through of what we where going to be doing. He was very patience and was really good by telling me what to do, and was also funny! I am in love with the photos we took and cannot put into words how good the quality is. I cannot wait to do another shoot with Dave sometime in the summer holidays again!!

Had the pleasure of meeting Dave after doing a home shoot in Bristol

Had a very warm welcome and had a good chat (as I was early) and a show of outfits before we got started.

The shoot went by way too quick! We got some fabulous glamour shots from that day. Dave co operated and understood very well the type of shots i was after, he tried many different angles which is what I liked. Dave has very good patience, so when I wanted to try a new idea, he would help to try and get that. Dave captures your good angles, he allowed me to check the photo to see if I'm pleased before continuing. Dave wanted to make sure I looked and felt great which made me happy.

The images itself, are amazing, I absolutely enjoyed the whole thing. I could of easily kept shooting the time just flew by!

Can't wait for our next shoot, highly recommended

Today had my first shoot with Dave it was last minute sorting it out! But I’m glad I have finally work with Dave. He makes you feel at ease and very comfortable. Out of most my photoshoots your far one of the most relaxing and fun shoot I have had.

He knows how to get good pictures with the right angels etc.I hope to work with him more he great photographer and lovely guy!

Good to meet a local photographer that does great work!

Looking forward to seeing the photos.

Had my first shoot with Dave earlier today, he made me feel really comfortable by giving lots of feedback and was a real gentleman. He had lots of ideas and let me express my ideas too. Definitely recommend him and hope to work with him in the future - can't wait to see the photos! :)

Had a fantastic shoot yesterday, despite my casting call being quite spur of the moment Dave was great with pre-communication, and pinpointing what I wanted from the photo-shoot. The day was good fun and relaxed, we bounced ideas off each other well, and from what I saw on the camera, there seemed to be a great deal of potential from most of the photos. Can't wait to see the overall outcomes but yeah was a really good day, definitely what I needed coming back to modelling.

Had a shoot with Dave on Thursday and despite only have 2 hours we got some brilliant images. Dave is a brilliant photographer and was great to work with, fun and full of ideas. Definitely would recommend this photographer, fun and professional and I absolutely love the photos!
