Had a lovely third shoot with Darren! Darren responded to a last minute casting call I put up, and was happy to go along with my ideas! He was also happy to come and pick me up from my house which was really kind! As at the time I didn’t have a working car :(

We shot some spring / floral themed portraits around Leonardslee Gardens. Darren was happy to walk around a little to find some photogenic backdrops / elements, as well as some PINK flowers to match my hair before I had to get rid of it! In the end we shot with three different outfits, and all three sets are fairly unique!

Had a great time working with Darren, such a lovely person, easy to get along with, happy to just go with the flow, and I would highly recommend :)

Thank you Darren for coming and shooting with me at my home casting. Darren was lovely, very professional, all communication / ideas leading to shoot were spot on :). One of my main bucket list shoots for soooo long has been poppies! But I always seem to either miss them, or can't find a poppy field! I recently found out about the location of a poppy field nearby, but it was right before my Hull tour, and I was worried that if I left it till I got back they might not be there anymore! So therefore I had an extremely limited availability of one day before I left (the next day), to fit a shoot in! To which the weather also looked absolutely awful!

I put out a casting call nonetheless, as was so desperate to fit them in no matter what! To my delight Darren responded, and as I have worked with him before, I felt confident he would be able to help me get some good images! Darren was happy to drive across and stand out in the rain/cold whilst I pranced about in some poppies, with just my broken umbrella to protect him and his camera! The initial images that I have so far look amazing, and I can't wait to see the final edited ones!

I would definitely recommend working with Darren. Thank you so much for helping me get this shoot in with such late notice!

Darren has been fantastic! Before lockdown we had intended to do a shoot, but unfortunately lockdown occurred. He kept in touch other the year & once we finally had an opportunity to shoot we made arrangements.

He was punctual & courteous. Darren is very focused on getting the perfect shot. I definitely recommend to shoot with Darren, if you get the opportunity!

I had a fantastic shoot with Darren in my home! The weather and lighting in this day was not good and we didn’t have an awful lot to work with at my home wise HOWEVER from what I can see from the back of the camera they have come out so so so well I love them. Super editorial, glowy and flattering. Darren was super laid back, my cats loved him and was very respectful in my home :)

I recently put out a casting call requiring the help of a re-toucher for some old photos I have that needed editing. The photos were fairly low quality, but despite this, Darren did a wonderful job. He has given the photos an extra boost, to make them more appealing to the eye rather than just raw images, and I would definitely recommend others to work with him :)

Darren recently replied to a casting I posted for retouching work on a series of images I had taken. His communication was excellent and he worked really quickly, always keeping me posted on his progress and producing a number of wonderful images with extremely detailed retouching.

I cannot fault Darren's work and would highly recommend him to any photographers or models wanting images of an extremely high quality. Thank you so much for all your hard work Darren.

My first shoot with Darren couldn't have gone better for me. He was very communicative when first discussing dates and ideas, and was very clear with the direction he wanted, providing extensive moodboards and references.

Darren was kind enough to pick me up from the train station, to then drive me to the studio he had chosen, which was very spacious and had a lovely dressing room area. He was very enthusiastic when discussing outfits, props, and poses, and worked in a very professional and amicable manner.

Can't wait to see the final images, but from what I've seen back of camera, he really knows his stuff when it comes to lighting and angles, and there were many shots I was really impressed with.

Overall, I'd be more than happy to work with Darren again, and if you're looking for someone to shoot with, he should definitely be added to your list!

Had a great shoot with Darren yesterday that was planned and executed well at the last minute.

Darren was polite, approachable, friendly, relaxed and professional all rolled into one and I really enjoyed working with him. It was easy, fun and everything ran very smoothly just as one would hope.

Communication was great prior to the shoot with ideas and mood boards bounced back and forth which I feel translated very well to the shots and whole feel of the look we were trying to achieve. I was quickly inspired by Darren’s timeless editorial/fashion shooting style on his PP which I was keen to shoot as I haven’t done much of this yet. I am beyond happy with the results Darren was able to capture.

He gave great direction when needed and had a range of different ideas in terms of backdrops and locations which worked really well for the concept.

Would highly recommend Darren and hope to work with him again in the future. Thank you! :)

Had an amazing shoot with Darren- the images are even better than the ones on his portfolio!

I was blown away from the first few shots and this just continued to happen as the shoot went on. I liked how he was open to my suggestions and we bounced ideas off each other. I was inspired by the clothes he brought and the atmosphere made me want to enthusiastic to shoot.

Pre communication was great, we talked back and forward often and shared ideas. Was easy to contact on the day

Darren and I organised a last minute shoot when plans for an original shoot fell through. He was absolutely amazing from the start, he was able to fit me in just a few days time and organised a studio for us. His comms where great with quick replies and adding lots of ideas.

Darren showed up on time and was able to direct me when I got myself a little lost and met me outside the studio. I instantly felt at ease as he has a very calm energy and a very kind personality. Our shoot flowed and he was always bringing ideas and great and clear with direction. He let me experiment with poses and I learnt so much from our shoot.

The images produced where exactly what we where both looking for and im so happy with the result. I highly highly recommend darren!

I am really looking foward to working with him again, book this photographer!

I had a lovely shoot at Stanmer Park with Darren. He arrived on time after great pre-comms, and we set out looking for interesting things to shoot.

The few hours we spent shooting went smoothly, great conversation and direction when needed. Darren also has a great eye, spotting a patch of bluebells quite far away from us that I would have never seen!

The shots we got are exactly what I’d hoped for and I’d recommend Darren to anyone!

I had a great first shoot with Darren in Worthing yesterday, Darren answered my casting call and straight away the comms were great, he sent me moodboards and we were both very clear from the start what we were going to be working on, times, where to meet etc. Upon arrival Darren picked me up from the station and we got along well instantly. He was very respectful, gave direction and gave good feedback. Throughout the day Darren was chatty and he treated me to a hot choc half in a lovely cafe on the beach. Overall I really enjoyed my day with Darren and the pictures on the back of the camera looked insane! Thanks again Darren!
