I'm stupidly late with leaving my reference - because in all honesty, it slipped off my admin pile and I never realised I hadn't sorted one out for Tim! 😱 He's also one of the most polite people who wouldn't hound me for a reference (he knows I get behind from time to time, although this is a very extreme/exceptional case! 😂) So I'm here to announce yet another recommendation for this lovely chap for a third time working with him on his filming and photography projects. 😊

The usual relaxed pace was set when I arrived: Tim and his family make models feel totally at home offering refreshments or anything you might need after your journey there. It's never a pressured setting with a harsh work push - anything a model might need or require for a positive days work is there and the day is always very productive whilst being easy-going at the same time. I had been touring Scotland at the time and this shoot was near the end of my tour... It can be quite crazy when you're on the road staying in the loop with everyone and then being cut off from emails etc. whilst your shooting, but Tim's communications were super as usual - he gets back to you usually very quickly and also takes note of what is discussed and takes on board the models needs to prepare the shoot accordingly. I felt respected and well looked after from the moment I got there, by now I think we have a good working rapport and I know what Tim is aiming for with his brief and scripts for the video work... He really does appreciate and value when we works well with people too, so the effort he puts in to make it a pleasant shoot reflects on the good working relationship that can build from that. 🙂

We got down to business as usual in a proactive manner; Tim is very well organised with his pre-shoot prep and has props/outfits and scripts all set for the work he does. It is naturally predominantly acting work as opposed to conventional modelling - but a fun change from the usual arty work sometimes. Most of what he shoots is what one would call "SFW" so it's potentially suitable for a vast number of models if you don't mind talking on video. I'll be honest - I have a right old giggle when I have worked with Tim - he usually is highly welcoming of the models offering their creative input and even going off-script if an idea occurs that really offers something good - so essentially it's an opportunity to collaborate and work as a team. 😃 Tim knows what he is wanting in his projects and will be able talk the model through it if necessary, but what really does work is the teamwork bounce. Any model who does lean into acting and enjoys the opportunity to be inventive/less conventional - this could be right up your street! Also - who doesn't love action/Sci-Fi vibes with story-telling and comic like value? 😁

A portion of the work Tim does involves rope work; imagine the cartoony/comic like style. That is the style involved in Tim's work so it's not so much hardcore fetish elements... And the ties are not brutally serious, it's more for the look in the scenes. I think it's worth mentioning because bondage is divided into so many sub categories - certainly I myself would not accept some assignments of the more extreme variation, but Tim's style of work is very light and very tame in comparison. Which: can hopefully offer some reassurance to models who might be considering a shoot with him. 😊 Also; whenever I have felt any discomfort with the ropes or anything - Tim will instantly sort it out and get me out to restore comfort and prioritise safety... Very important to note in this style of work!

We got stacks of footage, nailing the sets very quickly and flowed like we have done on previous shoots - yet with the benefit of a rapport now built on 3 shoots. Even so, we came to the end of the day thinking: "oh well we have this and this for next time!" There are always new ideas, or maybe something we didn't get chance to shoot because the creative bounce took a different direction and the opportunity to get the content was too good to miss. But this means: there is always a next time to look forward to right? 😁

Thank you ever so much Tim! It was really lovely to catch up with you.

It was a real pleasure being able to work with the lovely Tim at Darkfox Graphics for a second time... We had a greatly productive time filming material for his films on our previous shoot; so when the opportunity to nail something in the diary arose again as I found myself passing Carlisle - we got chatting and got round two in the calendar in just a few short emails! :D Because I was doing a great MAHOOSIVE tour of Scotland on this trip, I had several dozen emails coming in and out of my inbox daily for shoot plannings... So I have so much gratitude for Tim being so straight-to-it when we planned ours. It really does make a travelling models life a whole lot easier. :) Plus we were able to discuss outfits for the next cool scenarios we were to film: hence the good rapport and yield was happening even before the shoot had begun!

Upon arrival, Tim was super chilled; helping me with my stuff and getting tea brewed up at his family home which is just right next to the studio. It’s really lovely when you receive such fabulous hospitality and get 5 minutes just to natter/catch-up and have a moment over the hot beverages before you begin working. Because tours are very non-stop! As before: I was met with exemplary welcoming vibes and a relaxed atmosphere which shaped the rest of the day. :D Start as you mean to go on (in a positive manner) is always the best way! This is also really reassuring for models who may be planning to work with Tim because obviously the work you plan to shoot together is very specific and ice-breaking greetings/non-rushed starts would really give an uplifting and positive first-impression to any model coming to work for Darkfox Graphics. It makes a huge level of difference to your experience (in a good way). :)

So we got cracked on and the very same teamwork “bounce” that we’d had before took shape and led us on a highly creative and fun days work. :D Tim has concepts and ideas set aside, but he is utterly delighted to receive the models input too and thus work the shoot around what a specific model/actor can offer. So you’ll only ever be doing things that you feel 100% comfortable with for starters, and the communication continues throughout the course of the shoot so you can discuss bits scene by scene. Tim’s epic Sci-Fi knowledge and thinking process means that you’ll always be led well and in-keeping with the content of you require direction etc. but his easy-going temperament and enthusiasm to have everyone working together means that there really are no limits to throwing suggestions in and sharing inspired thoughts as time goes on and the opportunities arise. His props collection is then also something of grand impressiveness and allows you to really hit the genre vibe getting into the character zone. In fact, his whole studio is a treasure cove for his style of shooting. Any models who enjoy acting work, cosplay or the like will truly have a blast! :D

Just as before, I felt at ease with Tim calling the stops to make me comfortable in my working environment. He shows a great deal of respect towards models with their happiness and safety on-set being paramount during the whole shoot. Obviously with the bondage aspect to the work, Tim asks non-stop if the model is still okay/happy with the ties - and should you need a break at any time, that’s it. No more said, and Tim stops the scene promptly. As models, it’s naturally very important to know that we are going to a job where our health, safety and well-being is put first, and that is always the case when working with Tim. :) He’s compassionate, kind and really chatty/upbeat. Just an all-round nice guy!

Recommended yet again! :D We’d already began briefly discussing what to shoot for the next time, so watch this space!

Thank you so much Tim!

Had another fantastic shoot yesterday with Tim working on his epic feature film The Snaker.

We shot some mad cannibal scenes and it was so much fun. Loads of heads and limbs flew about and we got some great scenes done.

Great photographer and film maker full of creative brilliant ideas.

Can't wait to see the film as getting very close now.

Few more scenes to go so can't wait to work with him again :)

Tim is such a lovely person to work with, I travelled up to Carlisle to work with him and I was well looked after, kept warm throughout filming and was made to feel very comfortable. We shot some film scenes and did some rope work where Tim was very careful in doing the arms and leg ties, I really enjoyed shooting with him and I would happily go back

Many thanks

Had my second shoot with Tim the other day working on some scenes for his epic upcoming feature film The Snaker.

We had discussed some scenes he wanted to shoot beforehand and it was again so much fun working with him on it. He picked me up from the station on arrival and worked in his cool Green room/ studio. We got through all our planned scenes and even a bit more where we improvised on the spot.

While some scenes contained mild bondage Tim was ever so respectful and made sure I was comfortable throughout.

So happy to have been back and it's just so brilliant and creative working with him! Would recommend working with him 💯 and very much looking forward to our next shoot! :)

I worked with Tim for a whole day filming in Carlisle at his place - this was the first shooting day of my Scotland tour so I was shooting with Tim "on the way North" so to speak. Since we narrowly missed the chance to work together on my previous trip North, it was great to get it in the bag this time and Tim was great with communicating throughout the planning process to help me be prepared for the shoot as well as I could be which is essential on a tour when you've got check-lists galore to see you over two weeks on the road.

So all-in-all, a super innovative start to my trip! :)

Tim had a couple of ideas/stories he wanted to cover and had got together extremely cool props and accessories to make it work. He has a vision of how he wants to film the work and a story set aside for each one, but will also take on board the ideas of others so the story/film flowed nicely with teamwork. He had his own specific studio for the filming which allowed good space to assemble outfits and do the styling as well, off-set. Refreshments were just a few yards away if needed, and we stopped for a lunch break mid-way through shooting to refuel. Tim was very welcoming and hospitable from the word go: I never went thirsty or anything and the house nearby was kitted with everything if not in the studio.

Tim was respectful of my limits and comforts throughout. The work included light bondage, and I was never at a point where I found myself uncomfortable; Tim was always a gentleman and made sure I was okay. The whole shoot actually flew by relatively quick as we worked super productively and were just on a roll. There were plenty of laughs too mid-shoot and the pace was very relaxed/non-pressured. After the shoot, Tim kindly organised a lift to Carlisle station for me so that I didn't have to struggle with all my things.

I would be happy to work with Tim again in the future and hopefully we can manage to do so again this year. :D A recommended creative.

Thanks Tim!

I did some voiceovers for a character plus some filmed scenes and stills. Tim is really talented and very passionate about his projects and it's simply a blast working with him. He is friendly and throughout professional.

Will be a great project for sure and very happy to have been part of it!

Thanks again Tim and hope we get to work on something again in the future :)

I cannot remember the exact date I worked with Tim but it was roughly a year ago. Tim is easy going and his shoots are relaxed yet productive. I was equally impressed with the fact that Tim is extremely passionate and creative in his work which is highlighted in the end result. Thank you once again for a great shoot x

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Tim yesterday at both his studio and an outdoor location. He had booked me for acting as one of his main characters from his story which he had written. Tim and his family were both very welcoming, hospitable and made myself and my partner feel comfortable during our time shooting here.

Tim is very passionate about his work and I was impressed with his script writing and also his planning of what we were filming. He provided outfits and props and the whole shoot was interesting to be a part of.

I look forward to our second day of filming

I had the pleasure of working with Tim in March of this year. Tim is a lovely guy that brings tons of energy and ideas to a project. Great preshoot conversations and Tim provided a huge rNge of props and costumes.

I stayed in tims families guest house whilst filming and Tim and his family are lovely people and made me feel very welcome.

I spent an enjoyable two days working with Tim and look forward to working with him again in the future.

This reference is a little bit different from the norm, I have never met or worked with Tim, however had correspondents with via Purple Port for a while. While no doubt he suffers from budget restriction ( as many of us do ) Tim keeps going forward with some fantastic ideas. A very intelligent and creative individual that far passes the average person. I was pleased to have seen his latest piece of work on YouTube, a short Christmas horror film Jingles. While as already mentioned about budget, he put a lot of effort into his work, some great credits were he has added snow onto the Universal and Legend titles to blend with the film. Some good music ques that must have taken time to add, a little bit of gore and even some stop motion animation. I even liked how he made a fake film certificate and the scream when the production company came up. On top of this he even made a trailer, how cool is that.

There is no doubt that if he had the big bucks he could do some incredible stuff. You can check out the short yourself and it will only take 20 minutes to watch and then take a few minutes to give him some feedback. Tim works hard at what he does and we can all give him a hand by just passing the word about Jingles.

Thanks for all the hard work Tim, I hope this year is a good one for you.
