Daniel Onafuwa

Hello, hope you are well! My name is Daniel. I have recently relocated to Bristol on a permanent basis after living in Cardiff for the past 6 years. I have been professionally modelling the past few years on a part time basis outside of my day job where I am training to be a qualified lawyer. I also have experience in acting. I am very enthusiastic, passionate and absolutely love meeting new people and helping them bring their creative vision to life so I look forward to potentially working with you! I am currently a free lance model and am currently seeking paid work on this platform and via Instagram. Experience

• Successfully was selected in multiple SFW castings and modelled for SpoojWears [link removed] Afro-Caribbean wear at the first ever Swansea Fashion Week [link removed] in September 2023, I was personally selected by the creator himself, Eyitayo Ojagbohunmi [link removed] who is a famous designer and music producer
• Been internationally published in multiple magazines such as InFrame magazine [link removed], Lybell Magazine [link removed], FeatherMagazine [link removed], Prestige Models Magazine [link removed], Uncover Magazine [link removed] and recently featured in Looch Magazine [link removed]
• Recently acted in a high-profile production commercial by a big company client (can’t disclose name yet due to NDA) that is to appear on billboards and tvs and magazines from the photoshoot images, in collaboration with Fire & Ice [link removed] at Hensol castle [link removed]
• Scouted and invited down to be a VIP model at the International Convention Centre [link removed] in Newport to model for the Wales & West Photography show [link removed] (the UK’s largest photographic and video show in 2023 and Rotolight [link removed]Photowalk with famous London photographer, Sam Nash [link removed] who personally selected me to model for him
• Modelled at multiple Rotolight and Icebath sponsored photowalks with top end professional London photographers in multiple locations such as Bath with dozens of photographers such as Sam Nash who I modelled for in a variety of settings across the cities
• Been featured as model of the week by South Wales Creative [link removed]
•   Acted and modelled for suit company Dyfed Menswear Bristol and Cardiff for high profile filmed wedding commercial and photoshoot with Fire & Ice
• Modelled for promotional images and media videos for local establishments such as Vivo latino - which was Cardiff's best Latin American restuarant
• Brand influencer for FashionLior, Cocoburry and Paraverne
• Completed the 'UNLOCKED' modelling programme created by top international model Rachel Denham who I was personally coached by – (course provided a full breakdown on working with photographers, using social media, posing, different model categories, networking, dos and don’ts etc including Model bible).
• Had a collaborative e-Commercial photoshoot with leading Wales Modelling Agency, Emkai Models
• Represented Emkai Models at VIP tea party event and personally selected by CEO of Emkai Models, Martin Kurina, to model at launch of new pub restaurant SXC Gin at Swansea in the Coffi Glas coffee lounge and bar
• Modelled at a London photoshoot with local photographers and created my own Model e-Book and Z-cardModelled for sustainable clothing organisation, The COPA Project
• Built network of dozens of photographers and models that I have collaborated with across Wales and South-West England
• Acted in a short film ‘Maggot Brain' playing a musician in the main cast with a dance, catwalk and instrument playing scene

Skills

• Self-taught musician who is proficient in guitar, piano and drums
• I achieved a 140/150 distinction on my first piano grade attempt.
• I have taken part in competitive show choir singing for multiple years, taking part in international competitions and collaborations as well as performing male lead solos including open mic nights with my piano. I also sing in choir at church.
• I am considerably athletic, regularly practising over a half a dozen sports such as playing for Cardiff University Volleyball and Korfball teams. I regularly go to the gym outside of this.
• I make a mean banana bread!

Availability

I am available anytime from afternoon onwards including evenings on weekdays and fully available on weekends.
