Having met David previously a couple of times I was so pleased when he asked about organising a shoot with me at Basford Hurst Cottage. We spoke briefly about some shoot ideas including a 'Sandy from Grease' style and all pre comms were great as always.

David arrived with Graham (Strawbales) on time and after a cuppa and a natter we all began shooting. We worked through lots of different sets, each of us contributing lots to the shoot and time absolutely flew by!! David is a really passionate photographer with a keen eye for nailing 'that shot', he was always respectful of me as the model and our location.

As we worked through sets David was happy to let me pose naturally but also provided some direction as needed. He allowed me to view the back of the camera regularly and needless to say I was thrilled with the results!!

David is fun to have around, easy to work with, polite and I would highly reccomend working with him. I am really looking forward to seeing the finished edits and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you David!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

David came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to work with studio owner Miss C. It was a pleasure to welcome David back to Basford. All pre comms were great and he arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot.

David worked well with Miss C throughout the shoot and had many great ideas which he brought to life!! Whilst here David was completely respectful of our location and made sure to ask if he ever needed anything.

We would highly reccomend David and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you David!!

I had the pleasure of shooting with Dave and a couple of other photographers at the Xfactory studio day. The pre shoot comms were spot on, instructions of what to bring etc great and from the moment I arrived to the moment I left I felt well looked after, safe and happy. Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

I met David when he came to shoot with Artemis Fauna here at Basford Hurst Cottage.

David is friendly, professional and arrived on time. He was totally respectful of our location and took some incredible images during his time here.

I have spoken to David about future shoots and we are very much hoping to host him and his camera club this year!!

David is welcome back any time and I have no hesitation recommending him!

I had the immense pleasure of meeting and working with David for the first time a couple of days ago at Aldridge Transport Museum. David booked me there to model for a lovely group of photographers who all attend the same camera club.

David’s pre-comms were brilliant and he went to the trouble of arranging a lift for me as the location was difficult for me to get to. I could tell from our messages that David was easy going and a lot of fun and he certainly didn’t disappoint.

Once at the location I was met with a sea of smiling faces and lovely company. The four hours we spent there as a group just flew by! It was so lovely to work one-to-one with David at the end of the shoot day; he really is a funny, warm soul and I felt right at home in his company.

I’d recommend David to other models without hesitation, and I’m really looking forward to working with him again in the future! Thanks David 😊

Great first shoot experience with David on Thursday. David and a small group of photographers he knew, booked me for a group shoot at a transport museum, along with two other models who I knew. Davids pre comms were excellent, he explained everything I needed to know and we managed to get shoot ideas together fairly easily. The shoot theme was 50s in and around the vintage buses - which is right up my street!!

When I first met David, he was easy to get on with and down to earth. We shot our set together first on one of the red vintage buses. David had a good idea of the type of images he was looking to capture and gave some direction to help create them. We chatted and had a laugh as we went. Everything was relaxed and easy going with David.

I then went on to shoot with the other photographers in the group. David checked in on me, a couple of times to see if I was OK, which is nice. The whole group shoot went very well and I felt comfortable the whole time!

I would definitely recommend David and the group we shot with to other models and photographers. I enjoyed the transport museum David, many thanks for booking me :) x

Another awesome shoot with David, this time at the transport museum in Walsall.

I had a great time working with David, as always - he has great energy and is a lot of fun to be around; he makes me giggle a lot! He also has lots of fab ideas and is also keen for models to input in to the shoot which is always nice.

At one point I was sprawled over the bus seats in some rather odd looking poses, but they looked fantastic on the camera!

I felt very well looked after during the shoot, with David kindly making sure myself and the other models had refreshments which he brought along as well as making sure we had lots of breaks! I also really loved how the images looked on BOC and I'm sure the final results will be brilliant!

I really love working with David and without hesitation I would work with him again. Thanks so much David, it was a pleasure as always and I look forward to shooting together again in future.

Had another fabulous shoot with David at Gloucester prison on the weekend, as well as Graham and Carla.

David is a really great person to work with; he always makes sure you are comfortable and is clear in his direction and giving feedback on poses etc. He is very chatty and interesting to talk to; we had a great laugh during shooting and I thoroughly enjoyed our shoot.

We did a mixture of Carla and I together and then some individual sets. I felt entirely happy and comfortable throughout and thought David had some fab ideas for the shoot.

David is very attentive and made sure Carla and I were happy and comfortable, offering refreshments and plenty of breaks. David also very kindly offered me a lovely warm winter coat which I'm really grateful for, as the prison was very cold!

Thanks for another awesome shoot Dave. I highly recommend and look forward to working with you again in future.

I had a great shoot with David and Grahame and fellow model Emma Jayne last Sunday at Glouster Prison.

The prison is a cold place to work in but David made sure myself and Emma were warm and comfortable throughout the 4hr shoot.

David brought his own heater with him, food,hot tea/soup...which was kind and generous of David.

David is always fun and easy to work with on a shoot, we worked on some fun sixties looks and a 1920s look, which looked great inside the priosn setting.

I always enjoy my shoots with David and I look forward to the next one 🙂

I have had the pleasure of working with David on several occasions now, 1:1, in a group shoot and duo shoots with fellow model Artemis Fauna.

David is a lovely person to work with, very respectful of models and make sure you are comfortable at all times.

David is a accomplished photographer who always brings new ideas to each shoot, I always enjoy my shoots with Davis and the images we create.

David is also fun and easy to get a long with as well as being professional throughout.

Artemis Fauna

I have now shot with David quite a few times over the years on 1-2-1 shoots, themed events and studio days.

David is a clear communicator and always has ideas to work on for shoots.

I have worked with him mostly in a group (camera club photographers) and they always get on- no arguments, no fighting over ideas and time so every shoot is always fun and quite relaxed- working on some group events can be hectic, but the ones with David have always been great.

Looking forward to shooting with David this year again! Thank you David :)

Had a brilliant shoot with David and Graham last weekend at Gloucester Prison.

David is a really fun person to work with and very passionate about creating art. I liked how specific he was about the sort of image he was trying to achieve and he was really helpful with guiding me on how he'd like me to pose and express myself. It was a really enjoyable shoot and we had a lot of fun during the 4 hours we worked together.

It was a great afternoon exploring the site and taking advantage of all the amazing locations within the prison. David was a joy to work with, kind and respectful at all times and very accommodating.
