I retired from a stressful career in social care about three years ago and after a weight loss programme with the Cambridge Weight Plan felt a returning confidence but no wish to return to my former occupation. So, on my son's suggestion, I began as life model August 2011. I have found it both creative and rewarding and creating many opportunities for trying new and exciting ventures.

My first assignment was with Rankin and Channel 4 and I have been working with a variety of artists and photographers giving me a diverse portfolio. 
My image is currently hanging in the Amstel Gallery Amsterdam. I sat for a work by David Kretschmer 'Confessions' where I was invited to Germany to work.
I have worked the catwalk just the once for the Cambridge Weight Plan Convention in 2011 and was highly praised.
I am looking to experience as much of what modelling is able to offer me and actively seek to ensure that I help to promote the mature model.. Supporting Models of Diversity

I have recently been cast as a naked elderly lady in Terry Johnson's 'Hysteria' to take place in Bath at the Royal Court Theatre from July 23rd to August 18 then on tour for three weeks until September 8th 2012.

Special skills: Singing in barbershop chorus's for 16 years enhancing presentation skills. Vocal range Alto to Soprano.
Working in adult social care for many years enhancing communication and organisational skills, IT skills, and a good work ethos

Archery is my sport shooting both recurve and longbow..I shoot for the county in target. Shooting at the 'marks' and clout for pleasure.
I have also played Tennis for many years.
A little riding/dog handling/.22 shooting ( during Women's Royal Army Corps service in the 60's)
If housework may be regarded as a skill then yes, I have many years of practice!

 2020 update: I still have my archery bows and tennis racquet  but now I have a pony and improving my riding skills,  so beware! I may come with bruises...…………...
