I had no idea that I have such a gem close by! I couldn’t ask for a better Sunday; a lovely weather, talented photographer and absolutely outstanding results.

Neil is such a nice person to be around. Warm, funny and respectful and very easy going. We share a similar approach to photography and also… food :)

It goes without saying, that he is a very good photographer with attention to details and lighting. He is open to ideas and he is great with giving directions.

I do hope it was the first of many shoots and we will have a chance to work together again and again.

Highest recommendation from me. Very impressed.

On Saturday, March 30th 2024 I had a very good shoot with Neil. The pre-shoot communications were excellent, and the shoot went very well. Neil is very easy to get on with, good company, as well as being a very good photographer who cares passionately about the quality of his photography. He had tethered the shoot so we were able to see the photos on his laptop, which was very helpful. I have already seen some of the shots, and they will be going into my portfolio. I would recommend Neil very highly, and I would hope to work with him again at some point.

This week, I shot my first shoot with Neil. There was excellent communication leading up to the shoot, and arriving at a warm and welcoming studio was a bonus. The shoot was a collaborative process, and we experimented throughout; he was even cool with my bizarre requests. As such, we achieved results both parties were more than happy with.

I would jump at the chance to shoot with Neil again; nothing was too much trouble, and I highly recommend him.

I worked with Neil for the second time today at his home studio were we spent a few hours working together on some dark and moody portrait shots.

It’s been over six months since I’d worked with Neil previously but it felt like only yesterday as we hit the ground running, thanks to his easy going and super friendly approach to photography.

I’d gotten in touch with Neil as I was so impressed with the photos from our first set and I was very eager to create some more of his usual top standard photos.

Working with Neil is like meeting up with a friend who you’ve known for years, it’s effortless to get along with him as his warm personality brings out the best results for everyone and I would have no hesitation in 100% recommending him in every capacity.

I've just finished a shoot with Neil. It was great fun. I arrived early which was no problem for Neil, he even put the kettle on and made me a great cup of coffee. He has a home studio and while quite small has everything he needs to make great pictures. Today's shoot was primarily a portrait shoot but with different lighting. All went well and from what Neil showed me in his camera the shots where coming out really well.

Neil explained what was going on at all stages of the shoot making it very comfortable for me. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially those who are quite nervous. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again either on location or at his home studio

I absolutely loved working with Neil! We instantly got on and had such a laugh during the shoot, never felt so relaxed and had so much fun on a shoot!

He is an absolute expert with lighting and not afraid to try out new ideas. I got his vision and he got mine, and together we were an epic team and the photos he's created truly have the wow factor, and I haven't even seen the edited versions yet! Neil is so easy to work with and I loved that he gave me feedback throughout the shoot, which made my job a lot easier so I know how I'm coming across behind the lens. He also gave me some great tips that I will use going forward!

Honestly cannot wait to see the photos, absolutely love his work and I will work with Neil time and time again, he's very talented and a lovely person!

I had the pleasure of working with Neil for the first time today at his home studio were we flew through a few hours working on some classic portrait photography.

I’ve never felt so welcome in someone’s home studio, Neil was nothing but accommodating throughout and incredibly easy to work with.

It hardly felt like work as we naturally jumped from pose to scene while discussing ideas and creative concepts.

I would highly recommend working with Neil as his professional approach, super friendly personality and humble character make him someone who you can’t help but get along with.

I'm happy to report I enjoyed a creative, productive and very enjoyable first shoot with Neil at Blythe Bridge, Stoke-on-Trent on June 24th.

His pre-shoot comms made perfectly clear the set-up, the timetable and what it was he was trying to achieve and the results - which have been produced in double-quick time - are testimony to the clarity of his vision. Direction during both sessions (one in a beautifully lit front room, the second in superbly equipped garage space) was both friendly and professional, leaving the subject in no doubt as to what was required. Suffice to say I'm very much looking forward to working with Neil again as soon as possible. Thanks boss 👍

This was my first shoot with Neil at his home studio, We covered 3 themes in four hours and the time just flew by!!! I couldn't have met a nicer man. Neil is an amazing artistic photographer His photography screams out his passion for his work, Really couldn't be happier. He also gave brilliant direction and a wealth of information on photography and lighting is second to none. Neil was so very easy to work with and extremely professional. I never felt uncomfortable. It was an all-round enjoyable shoot; I adore working with a passionate photographer and cannot wait to see the images soon :-)

I would happily recommend Neil to anyone and would definitely jump at the chance to work with him again :-)

A very interesting and enjoyable second session with Neil today. Once again a clear plan as to what he hoped to achieve and a very different part of the session with a technique that I hope I did enough to help make the images work. Excellent first shoot with Neil. Good communication prior to and during the shoot. Neil has a clear plan of what he wanted to achieve but happy to let me input and do my own thing as well.
