I really enjoyed working with Carl. He was very friendly and chilled and the atmosphere in the studio was very relaxed. He brought liquid latex, which resulted in some amazing images. He was easy to talk to, easy to work with and we came up with some great ideas. I would definitely recommend him and happily work with him again.

My first time as a MUA on PurplePort, and I was invited along by the Model on a shoot.

Carl was very friendly when we met up, and we discussed ideas and what we were looking to get out of the shoot. It was a relaxed atmosphere in the studio which was in a hired space and he was very well equipped and is a very capable photographer.

Excellent opportunity, and I'd happily work with him again with other models to come up with more bold and standout looks.

How terrible of me, I haven't left a reference for this utterly superb man as of yet! Suffice to say he is extremely recommended. We decided to work on a woodland faye shoot together, and along with some corsets borrowed from Jo and some incredible MUA by Moby Beauty we were good to go.

The shoot itself was a complete blast, we worked along several sets and pre conceived ideas as well as spontaneously as the setting and styling took us.

They are some of my utmost favourite faye images, and I'm truly lucky to work with such lovely people.

I couldn't recommend Carl enough! x

I've worked with Carl a few times and it's always a lot of fun, and I always get gorgeous images from the shoot. He's really polite and friendly, very respectful and has a great input towards the shoot whilst being happy with what ideas I put forward. He works quickly, allowing us to get through a lot of different looks but still getting quality shots from it. He also has great communication both before and after the shoot, putting a lot of effort into making sure that I'm happy with how the images are coming out.

I'm really pleased with my shoot with Carl and will definitely be working with him again! Definitely recommended :)

I had an awesomely awesome shoot with Carl yesterday and was glad he was understanding in regards to me being burdened with train delays.

Carl gave me plenty of opportunity to be a Becca;he made sure I was getting what I wanted from the shoot in terms of allowing me to pose freely and allowing me opportunity to express any ideas I may have had.

He quickly put me at ease. He's friendly and professional, and allowed me to try on pretty corsets. I had a great time. :)

Today I had my first shoot with Carl. We had met the previous week to discuss shoot ideas and get to know one another, lovely friendly guy who's very easy to get on with.

The shoot itself was awesome, got some absolutely fantastic images with him and u got to play around with some hair and makeup styles.

Would happily work with Carl again, and are planning another shoot in the new year!

Again it was a lot of fun. There was a lot of pre shoot communication to discuss what we are doing and suggestions on what I should bring and to top it off I got to wear one of his wife's beautiful corsets. :)

I had an awesome shoot with Carl and Jo recently. He has a lovely calm manner about him and was polite and professional at all times. He and Jo put a lot of thought into our woodland set, bringing plenty of fun props (and corsets!) for me to work with.

He directs well but also gave me space to pose myself and be creative.

Great quality images, highly recommended!

Silence Masters

Carl & I arranged this shoot right back at the beginning of the year so we had a long time to wait - it was absolutely worth it.

Carl is incredibly friendly, easy both to chat to and to work with, and I really enjoyed our shoot. Despite suffering from a rather nasty cold he shot for hours, giving great direction throughout. He also brought along 4 beautiful corsets made by Jem Corsets, and helped me in & out of them in a very professional and relaxed manner.

Sometimes there is magic on a shoot and you just know you're going to make some great images together. The shoot with Carl was one of those.

Very much recommended, and I hope to work with Carl & his lovely corsets again :)

Had an absolutely EPIC shoot with Carl today. Carl was ready on time, all set up to shoot when I arrived and his pre-shoot communications were spot on. Carl knows exactly what he wants from the image and he gave great direction throughout the shoot.

He is a great guy, great photographer, very laid back but also professional. I felt so comfortable around him - like I'd known him for years. Definitely will shoot again :)

I typed a very long comment about my shoot but didn't hit post! So in short....

Fantastic TF shoot with Carl. He was very open to the ideas I had and reassured me he'd be able to create the images I was looking for

When I arrived I was made to feel welcomed, was offered drinks and shown images of the locations we'd be heading to (only a short walk from his house.

The shoot flowed very nicely, it was relaxing and very fun with Radiphead playing in the background. Carl made sure I was happy with the images throughout and quite honestly I was in love with shoots from beginning to end. I felt free to be creative and had awesome direction from Carl too.

We both got the shoots we were looking for which is what a TF is all about!

Very talented and easy going photographer. I look forward to working with him again soon!
