Crestfall Photography & Digital Art

A resident of Birmingham since 2010, my photography life has been in a constant state of evolution. Starting out working in alternative clubnights, capturing candid moments of the events therein, I would also work as a music journalist. This led me to capture images of many bands within the Industrial & Alt. rock genres.

In 2015 I began attending conventions, and in doing so started a new chapter by snapping cosplayers - mostly within the Doctor Who community. Nowadays I can be found organising group gatherings, learning new editing skills for ongoing creative projects and working with familiar & new people who enjoy my work.

I also have backgrounds in event photography, studio, behind the scenes & product work, but as long as the environment is a friendly and memorable one I am usually in my element.

Previous publications include Bizarre Magazine [readers art finalist 2010], Metal Hammer Magazine, Soundsphere Magazine, The Twisted Edge, Doctor Who Magazine and more. I have taken photos for rock/goth/industrial nights in and around Plymouth, Birmingham, London and Sheffield and can travel to many parts of the UK (if given ample time to organise).

It must be noted that I am on the Autism Spectrum, but am well versed at masking, often leading to a fun and social environment. I am more than happy to have newcomers bring along a chaperone if they so wish, as I've always believed that safety and trustworthiness has been key in making a day run smoothly.
