References for Creative Space Studio

I had the pleasure of working at Creative space studios along with Alec who had booked the space out.

Dan was an amazing host and when I arrived was really welcoming and friendly, offering me refreshments and showing me the large dressing room area.

The studio itself is beautiful with lovely high ceilings and it’s very clean and spacious, the changing room area is a lovely size with a beautiful Hollywood bulb vanity and would be perfect for makeup artists to work from.

Dan worked so hard to help set up all of the backdrops and lighting so that the photographer could achieve all of the shots he had in mind, he was doing everything he could to help get the best shot and was suggesting ideas all throughout the shoot.

Dan was holding a fan in various angles to blow my hair just the right way for the shot, holding reflectors to lighten up my face and checking the back of the camera throughout to make sure we were getting it right.

He even had some great books and pulled a few poses out for me to try that he thought would match what we were trying to achieve.

I loved this studio and it had such a nice feel and would highly recommend working here and working with Dan if you get the chance!

Organised Chaos

I contacted Dan the owner of Creative Space (MK13) which is situated as a Unit 6 in the New Bradwell Workshops which was notably once upon a time St James School the Church is still a functioning Church of C of E the Church warden Carl is enthusiastic about the workshops as is Gary as this is a very artist community centre collection of units.

If you do which I recommend you do visit Creative Space I would suggest you use Google Maps as my Tom Tom could not find the postcode & Leah my excellent model also found an issue with her sat nav.

There is ample fee parking at the centre car park with a smaller car park to the rear about 16 cars & to the front parking for well over 50 cars as it is also the Church carpark.

Dan is very welcoming meeting me outside of the unit & upon me entering into the unit I was offered tea,coffee,bottled water.

The studio has a high ceiling also the seating area is very much a place where all there can relax which is very good as got a most good vibe.

The studio has multiple back drops , it has 2 shooting areas there is a separate area for models to get changed in & make up to be done which is a very good sized area so a make up artist or 2 as well as 2 models could easily use this space.

Dan is very much an artist & this is a professional studio with professional lighting, a multitude of excellent photography books which you can look through & Dan can if you want to will tell you about lighting techniques & is obviously very much happy to share his experience offer help & assistance also to note Dan does not charge for this as so please know when you visit then you will be in good hands with Dan being around as much as you want or he will go into his office & leave you to it if you prefer.

I really enjoyed my booking & I have already booked again.
