Andy has this many references for a reason. I cannot fault him. I've worked with Andy before and I've shot at his studio many times. We worked together across a few sets including exploring a style of work I haven't shot before and he made me feel so safe, confident and communicated so well throughout. He is an incredibly talented photographer and someone you will always end up with amazing results with.

He is such a respectful and genuine person, that you can trust and speak to. He's welcoming, positive and honest.

I can't recommend him anymore than I already do, please please shoot with this man - he's phenomenal.

Andy booked the last slot on my first visit to Kempston Studio yesterday and I'm so glad he did! We didn't have anything planned beforehand so made it up as we went, with absolutely gorgeous results! We captured some beautiful emotive portraits, anonymous cinematic images and Andy encouraged me to input my own ideas too. Between all that, we had plenty of time to chat about the highs and lows of studio ownership and it was lovely to speak to someone who understands. I found Andy to be respectful, funny and wonderfully creative. It was a wonderful end to a great day and I really hope we get the chance to work together again.

I had my first shood with Andy at Kampston studio.

Was an incredible shooting and i really enjoyed it!! Andy is so professional, friendly and is so fun to work with.

We start with lingerie, art nude and i LOVED the last shoot: i had to streach the t-shirt that he made for me...was amazing.

Wowowow Andy is a fantastic photographer!

He picked me up from the station where we chatted away until we got to his amazing studio with tonnes of outfits and backdrops and a set he had already set up!

We got a huge varied bunch of images with great lighting and even tried bodyscapes which I hadn't done before, and the results were stunning first time!!

Highly recommend, very respectful guy and I felt very comfortable shooting.

Hopefully we get to shoot again!! And organise a studio day hehe!

I had my 2nd shoot with Andy who owns Bedford studio. Great comms beforehand as he is often has his phone nearby and replies.

Despite his busy schedule, I got the opportunity to shoot in his studio with the man himself. We chatted for 2 hours before starting the shoot that went quickly. We were using different background scenes and referring to what we did last time as memories too. He directed me as well as let me pose freely at times.

He used his nifty camera to take photos of me and equipment of his studio to get the lighting right. I used some of his outfits despite I brought a lot of outfits with me.

I felt comfortable shooting with this organised photographer.

He is easy to chat to and didn't push my levels that we agreed before the shoot.

Andy and I had an impromptu second shoot together between shoots yesterday and I have so many positive things to say about him. Not only is he the most respectful photographer I've met, he really knows his stuff. He is a superb guy, and owns an amazing studio that he runs so well.

Andy and I tried levels I haven't shot before and I felt just as comfortable as if I was fully clothed- he makes the environment so positive and so at ease. On top of his professionalism, he has such a warm personality and could catch up with him for hours!

If a piece of clothing needs rearranging who there is a pose he wants to try, he always asks for consent before touching you or moving you.

He is filled with amazing ideas and knows his lighting so well and can completely change a set up in seconds. BOC shots looked amazing and the first edits were even better. Thank you Andy!

If there is one photographer you should ever work with - this is him!

Andy and I have met many times but never worked together. Well, that was rectified during my most recent Kempston Studio visit when we finally had the chance to! Andy is a phenomenal studio owner and organiser which clearly spills over into his photography because his pre shoot communications with me were fantastic, sharing outfit ideas ahead of time so I knew what to expect.

When our shoot began, Andy showed me his little book of notes detailing the shoot plan which really helped, keeping us on track and meaning we were able to get through all of his ideas with time to spare. He was polite, professional and friendly from the start. Andy made sure I was warm throughout and showed me the back of the camera shots as we went, working with me to get the very best shots.

I felt comfortable with Andy and would happily recommend him to other creatives. The back of camera shots looked absolutely spectacular and I can't wait to see the edits. He's a true gent and someone I'd always work with.

Was a pleasure to shoot with the lovely Andy, he’s so creative and is such a wizz with sets and knows how to put this together in such a flash. Andy really knows his stuff about lighting and styling with outfits together we made a great team and we created the most wonderful images together.

I love shooting with Andy! We had our second shoot at the end of my recent studio day at Kempston and got through some really great sets. He’s got a great eye for lighting and creating a whole scene, which really helps to tell a story through the images captured.

He’s such a lovely guy - I’ve felt really comfortable visiting his studio. His communication and organisation for studio days is excellent, and I can trust that I’ll be in safe hands when he’s running things.

I feel that we can bounce ideas off each other, and he’s encouraging and complimentary, which makes for a successful shoot!

Would definitely recommend and look forward to my next visit to Kempston :)

I shot with Andy for the second time at Kempston Studio, and had yet another amazing experience!

Andy is so easy to work with and his skills just guarantee a successful shoot with absolutely incredible outcomes. Everything from his communication, model direction, lighting control and creativity is just top notch. We shot boudoir and art nude themes, and despite feeling like I have explored those subject previously, I have learned so much by shooting with Andy and opened my eyes to some completely new possibilities, poses and outcomes in that realm. It was an extremely valuable and fun experience.

It's always a pleasure to come back to Kempston Studio and I wholeheartedly recommend working with Andy!

Andy made me feel comfortable immediately. He’s very lovely&friendly and of course an amazing photographer with a lot of ideas and technical knowledge too.

Andy has also a great selection of clothes and accessories that we used for our shoot. We created lots of beautiful pics together and I can’t wait to post them!

I had my first shoot with Andy yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better, he kindly picked me up from the train station and we drove to his studio -Kempston studio, which is the best I’ve ever been, he literally got everything you need to get the most out of your shoot :)

Andy is a great, experienced photographer who made me feel comfortable at all times and is very professional without any doubt. He explained what lighting he was using which was very helpful and interesting and showed me the photos as we shot. Can’t recommend him enough and I already can’t wait to shoot with him again (hopefully at Kempston studio !!). Thank you so much Andy :)

I had my first two studio days last weekend at the wonderful Kempston Studio!

Andy is so lovely and made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked through the door. He is also a super talented photographer and I’m absolutely thrilled I got the chance to shoot with him! He had some amazing ideas and a great selection for clothes and accessories for me to try!

He even got me pecan pastries which are my favourite 😉

Had a shoot with Andy as part of my first studio day at Kempston Studio. Andy had some great ideas and we went with a gels & jewellry shoot. a cow girl set and some bodyscaping. Andy is fantastic to work with, very friendly and knowledgeable. Andy also has a lot of technical knowledge to set up the composition and the lighting very well. The end result is an excellent set of images. Highly recommend!

I had a great first shoot with Andy whilst at his studio (Kempston)

Pre comms were great and Andy collected me from the station and made sure I had lunch, coffee and snacks throughout my studio day.

He is really easy to work with, very friendly and laid back and we had a good laugh though out the shoot. We shot some stuff with experimental lighting and the results came out great! I would happily shoot with Andy again and can definitely recommend him :)

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Andy came to Basford to shoot with Kate Stardoll on her sold out studio day.

Andy's pre comms were great. Andy was an integral part of helping me with the administrative side of opening Basford Hurst Cottage, so, to say I was excited to meet him is an understatement!!

Andy is polite, friendly and always has a big smile on his face!! He is clearly extremely knowledgeable about photography and the images on the back of the camera looked incredible!! - He is also an experienced snake wrangler....!! Who knew!! :P Needless to say our resident snake Noodle was in good hands!!

Andy is welcome back to Basford anytime and I really hope to see him again soon!! Highly recommended by me! :D
