I worked with Carl on a recent Fine Art workshop hosted by David "English Photoworks"

Carl was lovely and super easy to work with during the shoot- he was very laid back and let me pose away, but did suggest things when he wanted to tweak a pose which was great!

Id really like to work with Carl again one day- hopefully on a 1-2-1 basis.

English Photoworks

It was great to recently work with Carl at a workshop at my studio. He is an excellent photographer and a thoroughly excellent person! He worked very well with our model, Artemis Fauna, giving great direction and working hard to get the shots he wanted. I woudn't have any hesitation in recommending him to others and it was a real pleasure to work with him. The photos he produced were first-rate, I enjoyed talking to him about architecture and hope to run into him again one of these days! Many thanks, Carl.

Yay Carl was my very first victim of the day at my studio day at Natural Light Studio in Northampton last Saturday!

Pre comms were fantastic, Carl arrived early and eager to shoot with a clear idea of what he wanted to shoot, mainly portraits and three quarter lengths but all with a difference. Carl has a great knowledge of lighting and made me look beautiful! Even though we only had an hour to shoot he was still happy to have a chat and a giggle through the shoot, usually the first hour of any shoot can be difficult as you are both warming up and getting in to the swing of thing but he made it so easy for me to just relax and do my thing. :)

Carl brought a mood board along to make things even easier, he’s so down to earth and chilled out whilst being very encouraging and filled me with inspiration. Such a great start to the day and I really do hope to work with him again in the future as I’m so impressed with what we got in an hour I can’t imagine what we could get done with more time!

I had a lovely time shooting with Carl at my home recently! He is a wonderful man and made me feel at ease. We shot at a few point around the house while he was experimenting with interesting techniques. From what I saw we got some lovely photos and I would definitely work with him again! Very highly recommended.

Had my second shoot with Carl today but this time it was a tutorial with Jon Downs.

Carl turned up 10 mins early for a cuppa and a chat. The shoot soon got of to a cracking start.

Carl is an amazing photographer who quickly picked up on Jons tuition.

Got some amazing images. Hopefully there will be a next time.

Carl was very friendly, professional and easy to get along with. The time went so quickly but was very productive. Having seen some of the finished images I can definitely say we had a brilliant shoot, they are beautiful.

Had a wonderful first shoot with Carl during my studio day at Scarlet Door, his comms beforehand were brilliant giving me ideas about the sort of thing we were going to be shooting allowing me to pick out garments suitable!...

Carl was immediately friendly and chatty... You couldn't not feel comfortable around him whilst shooting, we had a good giggle too!....

The images we shot are beautiful, very elegant and soft, Carl knew the angles and composition he wanted and was competent in knowing his lighting!.....

I would certainly recommend Carl to other models.... it was a very productive shoot and Carl is a lovely genuine person to shoot with!

Grwat first shoof with carl! We worked together for an hour at thd wokingham studio. He wanted to try out his new lens so did some experimental things with that as well as some quirky fashion work :) really easy to work with, fun and friendly. Highly recommended by me!

Despite having no pre-comms (the event was organized by someone else), we built a rapport very quickly and was able to come up with some FANTASTIC images!

The Wokingham Studio

Carl came to a studio day today and worked with Victoria Summers. He's also used the studio on an earlier occasion with Victoriah. He works professionally with the models and treats them with courtesy and respect. He's very friendly and I look forward to welcoming him at the studio in the future.
