Stephen Crawford Davies

I first became seriously interested in photography in 1983 when I bought a 35mm SLR camera. Shortly afterward I set up a home darkroom using a second-hand Durst Enlarger and began processing my own films and printing both monochrome and colour prints. I finally ‘went digital’ in 2008 and currently I am using Sony, Canon and Leica digital cameras.

In recent years my people photography has been more in a candid "street style", plus some child portraiture.  I am now though looking to going back and having a go at some more contrived portraits and scenes using models in a controlled environment (studio or location). My other interests include:  european films, music....oh and yes, I’m also quite partial to a glass or two of decent red wine!
