This was my first shoot with John in his home studio.

His pre-comms were great, I knew exactly what he was hoping to achieve through the shoot.

John was chatty through the shoot and made me feel very at ease.

I would recommend working with John.

Considering I have very little experience he made me feel at ease. He even picked me up from the station, provided drinks and bought a item of clothing for the shot. Cant recommend him enough.

I did a shoot with John with another model Jo Draper, it was one of the first location shoots I had done when I first started modelling, as you can see from the images I was very relaxed and he was very friendly and easy to get on with, especially as I was so new to modelling! He had some great ideas with posing and picking locations.

Very enjoyable shoot and I would happily work with him again sometime this year. Thumbs up from me!

I had my first shoot with John in his studio and what a great way to spend those morning hours. John's studio is excellent and in a very easy location to find. It has all the equipment you will need for a shoot and John himself is a friendly person and very easy to work with. I have already seen some of the images here and they are excellent so am very happy with his work and his lighting is just amazing. You can never get bored with John or run out of ideas because his team work and directions are excellent too!

Highly recommended both the studio and the owner!

John is the perfect gentleman. He came to rescue me and my trusty steed (bicycle) from the canal towpath after I received a puncture in my tyre and gave me lift to his home studio. I was the one who insisted on cycling!

John and I had a mixed shoot of differing styles, combining some of John's ideas with my own. He is very amicable, patient and will listen to your ideas. He has an open mind and due to his extensive skill and equipment he has acquired and worked hard for, he is able to make subtle adjustments to light positioning and level in order to create unique images. Even the illusion of a full moon behind you! Very clever guy!

He has a great unique style and eye for details.

Looking forward to our next shoot tomorrow.

I had a fab day shooting and learning at John's studio near Bath.

John took some gorgeous photos of me but what I learned about all things studio photography at the same time was invaluable!! He is a fantastic teacher and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn about this particular field. He is a lovely man who clearly has a passion for what he does and he certainly does know what he is talking about!

I had my first shoot with John and it was great. The pre shoot comms were good, we shot at my home studio, John arrived on time and remained polite and professional throughout. John is lovely, easy to get along with, knows what he wants and gives good direction whilst welcoming input.

Had a great shoot with John at his lovely warm studio on Wednesday. Good conversation, lots of fun playing around with the lighting (my first time using colour filters, great fun!) and we got some awesome images out of it, which I'm looking forward to sharing. Pre-shoot comms were excellent so we had a good idea of what we were looking to achieve.

I would most certainly work with John again, highly recommended =)

Our shoot was very short notice- organised on the day! Great pre-com and an interesting man so conversation was never short. Enthusiastic about his work, we got some great pictures and a good play with lighting. Recommended!

I had an awesome shoot with John yesterday, he found a fabulous location and gave me a brief run down of what type of thing he wanted - I was able to mix and match to fit a few different looks and areas on location.... We completely lucked out with weather and amazing parts of location, to get some great shots! Communication is excellent and John is friendly, creative and easy to work with :)
