Finally! The chaos subsided to at last enable next to tour the far North of Bonnie Scotland again. ☺️ I’ve really missed my adventures up North as there’s a great circle of people that I love catching up with - Callum being someone that I would almost religiously shoot with when I’m up! 😃

Aaaaand another fun Cosplay shoot in the bag for us! 😁 This time we managed to shoot two adorable Cosplays as well - Callum is routinely well prepared in getting hold of the costumes and planning the shoot in terms of what we can fit in. He always has a lot of background info and mood boards ready for each Cosplay and this means every shoot runs like clockwork, and we know exactly what we’re doing the minute we meet up. ☺️ Exceptionally organised - that’s Callum! His communications are always super swift and to-the-point as well, whenever we’re chatting away in the planning of a shoot things just get sorted so quickly and effortlessly. He’s a star! Tours are manic, but having photographers like Callum makes like gallons easier. I cannot express my appreciation enough! 🙏

We shot at Callum’s place: he has a fabulous house and private land that he’s sometimes able to use for shoots. It’s great because of course you have full privacy and can get through the looks with no hassle from passers by (if you’re trying to incorporate an outdoor setting into the images). The place was just perfect for what we were shooting as well! We even did some inside and got all creative with mirrors (get us!) It was Callum’s suggestion as he mentioned he had a room full of mirrors which offered potential for the second Cosplay we shot - we’ve not done anything like that before and Callum got totally into playing with angles to catch cute and interesting shots; different to the usual mood board stuff we shoot, but fantastic on an imaginative level! 😃

As every other shoot has been; the atmosphere was good and the vibe nothing but professional. 🙂 Callum treats models with the greatest of respect and courtesy; he always wants the model to be comfortable and happy making him just lovely to work with and someone I would totally recommend on a matter of professionalism. He has a good heart, and is chatty/enthusiastic/easy going as can be!

It really is a pleasure - every time we shoot! And the next shoot is always something to greatly look forward to! Which Cosplay will it be next?? 👀

Touring “up North” has now meant that a compulsory cosplay shoot with the lovely Callum must happen in the process! :D His shoots are such good fun and allow the model to just detach from the world and become a super cute Anime character for the session. Yes it’s true: just another productive day in the office!

Anyone reading will see that I’m largely re-confirming what I’ve said before in references from previous shoots with Callum. He’s an utter joy to work with - totally professional in his approach, organised with perfection to style the shoot relative to the character brief and completely easy going. He knows his stuff exceedingly well and comes always with a mood board selection of pre-selected poses/ideas for the model to work from... So even if you’re due to be working with Callum and may not be totally familiar with the character, the shoot is so well prepared that you won’t need to worry at all. Callum’s communications before shoots are literally always on-pointe too so you can rest assured that it will be a genuine and down-to-earth booking following agreements relative to the models comfort (i.e. levels etc.) with no hassle whatsoever. This gent really is a total gem to work with; whether you’re going up North, or he’s travelling to you. :)

This time we worked with the brief of an adorable Pokemon character. I GOT TO TAKE HOME THE CUTE TEDDY TOO! I mean, nuff said really. It was a really cool shoot too because we had our routine mood board at the ready, but also tried various different creative suggestions thrown in the mix too which made funky use of all the interesting props which came with the outfit (supplied by Callum). We’ve worked together so many times now that we really do just click into a flow and the ideas start rolling, because Callum is really down for the model to contribute too and add their own little bit of themselves to the character. So many lovely shots in the bag - as per usual! It was a nice studio too, Callum works both on location and indoors where necessary; he is always mindful of the best setting, not to mention the model feeling happy on the job.

So I can wholeheartedly confirm for the “umpteenth” time that this photographer is someone I would recommend to the moon and back every day of the week! :D When ever I’m travelling to the far North of Scotland, he’s one of the first people I start chatting with to see if we can arrange something. He’s just a pleasure to be in the company of, and has a true heart of gold. :) I totally look forward to every future shoot with Callum, because you can always guarantee there will be a future shoot!

Callum is lovely to work with! I would quite happily recommend him again and again - well you can see from how often I’ve left feedback for him and at this stage I really am just going over what I’ve stated previously: but all still stands and it’s always a pleasure to look forward to working with Callum again on future shoots! :D

This time was particularly cool a shoot because Callum scouted a really cool location for us to work through the latest chosen Cosplay character: let’s just say that anything that involves awesome trees for me to climb - works for me right away! :P Callum’s communications were brilliant as usual: we chatted about the look/outfit and location to coordinate everything perfectly and ensure the same wonderfully productive success that we’ve always had. He always puts a lot of creative thought and effort into getting the conditions for each shoot just right and the combination of everything relative to my Cosplay this time was just total evidence of that - warrior Elf in the forest: let’s be having it! :D

The shoot flew by in no time at all; Callum researched and obtained the usual ‘brief’ poses for us to work through and also allowed me to do my thing amid the trees and come up with inventive ideas. We always work tremendously well as a team and even when the lighting and/or angles are more challenging than usual (a model in a tree and a very narrow plane of sight which isn’t obstructed by branches etc.) Callum takes it all with a punch of salt and nails the images which always look super funky as we review them back! :) Callum also so kindly sends me some of the shots after the shoot as well so I get to see them in full glory either later on my tour or when I get back home. He’s a really easy person to work with and so generous/courteous in so many ways with the most chilled-out nature possible. We always do well on our shoots (sometimes even fitting in two Cosplays!) but they are never rushed/pressured and the vibe of the working rapport we have is always utterly fab. :)

A total sweet-hearted gentleman who approaches all his shoots with the highest levels of professionalism: always bestowing no end of respect for the models and valuing their input on the shoots very highly. I would vouch for him if any model needed a reference and genuinely look forward to the cool Cosplay we’ll explore on the next shoot! And I’m utterly certain it won’t be before long! :D

I have genuinely cost count of the number of shoots Callum and I have done! But they never cease to be a lot of fun with the various different Anime characters that I become when we work together. :)

This time it was a character called Perrine which entailed a whole bunch of cute poses in association with the nature of the character. Callum always researches the shoot briefs and picks them accordingly for the models matching them so well. It makes my job such a breeze because he is literally organised down to the last detail and knows all the attributes for the character styles and poses - so even if a model isn't that familiar with Cosplay/Anime it really isn't a problem because Callum has all the planning for the shoot and brief nailed to perfection. He brings the outfits which he generously lets the models keep afterwards, he does extensive work to collect together mood-board images on a tablet to guide the posing for the character and will plan a suitable location/studio which to compliment the shoot. He really is a dream to work with and it literally might be that we book in the shoot, then just exchange a few emails before I leave on my tour to make sure there isn't anything else I need to pack - then we're good to go!

A shoot with Callum gives both the opportunity to be expressive with posing and "act" too. We have done some video as well up to know which really suits the style of material he is shooting, and looks good too! The pictures are really enjoyable to go through at the end of the shoot, Callum kindly lets me take some back-of-camera shots and even sends me some images later which are lovely to receive and look totally the part for the cosplay theme we shot. :D He knows his field really well and whilst he's good at directing and suggesting ideas for poses, he lets the models flow and interpret the poses, as well as bring their ideas to the table. It's a wonderful team-orientated rapport every time we shoot for sure.

As usual: Callum was an utter gentleman. He is kind and easy-going, nothing is too much trouble and he is outstandingly respectful of the models: always making sure that levels are respected and if there's any specific nude/risqué' styles of shots then he will ALWAYS make sure that it's all okay with the model and that the model is comfortable throughout. He discusses everything professionally in communication so you know what to expect on the day and shows a great deal of courtesy/respect to the people he works with. I honestly cannot recommend him enough and always look forward to shooting again when I pop back up to the North of Scotland. :D

Callum and I have enjoyed so many awesome shoots up to now - we’ve worked together pretty much every time I’ve toured Scotland in the last year... Every shoot is different in terms of the cool ideas/brief Callum brings, but there is always the same professional team rapport which makes each session flow like a dream! He’s the easiest going and most down-to-earth guy that a person could possibly be and literally on-pointe with his organisation and prep for shoots! You can guarantee that doing a fun Cosplay shoot with Callum that he will have thought of everything in he prepping stages from the tops to the bottoms of the costume and suitable locations too. He knows his stuff so well and nails it from all angles. I always look forward to the next time we shoot and the exciting character that will be on the cards! :D It’s such a good crack becoming an elite Anime character for the afternoon!

Our most recent shoot was set to be on location (initially in woodland) but with the weather looking a tad questionable, quick-thinking Callum was able to organise us to shoot at an awesome barn location he has access to which gave us some shelter if needed. He’s always super considerate of the models he shoots and shows the highest level of respect for their comfort and well-being on a shoot. He communicates well all the time too so you know exactly what the shoot will entail/the character info and outfit details which he always provides and checks sizes etc. keeping the models not the loop at all times. A real gentleman who appreciates models as an integral part of the shoot and always wants to create a positive shoot environment with a fab working relationship. He’s a really sweet person too and super chatty/lovely which is really nice because it gives the shoot that upbeat social element. I genuinely recommend Callum very highly to new/experienced models who may be in the process of possibly arranging a shoot with him. He’s a photographer I have always had very pleasant shoots with.

It’s not a problem if some models may not be up to scratch with Cosplay either/know the character they are playing because Callum (as part of his epic prep he does for the shoot) researches pose ideas and looks for the specific character so you can mix the shoot up with ideas that come on the day plus signature looks for that character which Callum will have saved on his tablet. :) He has a good vision for the genre too and catches some really cool angles/emotion in the shots so he’s got a lot of visual scope himself which he brings to the shoots.

Another fabulously fabulous shoot with Callum! :D In fact each and every shoot we have done to-date has been a total success and always a fun/charismatic shoot offering the chance to do something a little different.

Our last shoot before this was flowing so well that we managed to get two cosplay character sets done! That was a location session during August and working on location, Callum is always careful to make sure the models are not uncomfortable. He has a lot of knowledge/access to cool places, many of which have back-up if the weather decides to take a bit of a turn. But they’re literally perfect for the Cosplay looks.

Now our latest shoot I think rocked so hard because it was quite an ambitious one: Callum’s got a great eye for picking out characters that suit the models, but the fun thing about this one was that under her outfit... she’s covered in full body tattoos! So once we’d done the various clothed shots, it was then a break-off mission whereby I painted the tattoos on with liquid latex! Callum is such a professional and well prepared photographer too, he’s always got the outfits spot on down to every last accessory; but also made sure he had a big enough supply of the liquid latex and a studio booked with the facilities to do the job (Lighthouse Studio in Inverness). It looked sensational once completed! :D As always, Callum was so kind and let me take some back-of-the-camera shots for a social media sneak-peek... I don’t think I’ve ever taken so many! There were so many winning shots!

He’s such a lovely sweet person to shoot with and totally down to earth/chilled out. The shoots always go super quick and there’s never a shortage of chatter as we work which really makes the work feel upbeat and enjoyable. I cannot recommend Callum highly enough and always look forward to working together again on future Scotland tours. He’s got huge respect for models and a huge passion for his photography.

I love working with Callum this was second time now but this time I was touring in Scotland . Callum travelled to my location and was early . Callum always brings the most amazing outfits and lets me keep them :D . Callum I very chilled and laid back . Callum came prepared with a few poses to help me get to grips the characters personality too. Great shoot. We flew through the sets and got our shoot done in record time . Thanks Jessica x

I had a second shoot with Callum yesterday and it was just as enjoyable as the previous one. Again he supplied another full cosplay outfit for the shoot and it went by so fast as he is so easy to work with and to chat to. He tells me which style of images he would like to achieve before each shoot which gives us a good working plan for the session to do just that. I highly recommend working Callum if you are given the chance to, especially if you are a big fan of cosplay 😊

I have just finished a shoot with Callum and it was one my favourites for sure. Firstly.. Callum was spot on with his comms, he had the cosplay outfit all organised brand new in the packaging ( which was amazing on and top quality ) he was organised on which location he wanted to use and what style of poses he wanted to cover in order to create the content best suited for the character. He was so friendly and easy going to work with,No hassle, no stress and straight to the point with what he wanted to achieve which made my job so much more enjoyable and straight forward.

I look forward to future shoots with Callum. Myself and my partner have made a friend from today's shoot and I highly recommend Callum to all models.

Had a lovely shoot with Callum. We did a short shoot before attending Mcm in London, the cosplay was of Momo from Boku no Hero Acadamia and he turned up with great ideas, he was kind and understanding of my health and I really enjoyed the shoot.

He was also kind enough to show me and my family to excel where mcm took place as well as settle me anxiety of the masses funnelling into the building. Thank you.

I had a great costume shoot with Callum in Nairn. We discussed before the shoot and he ordered a Kitana costume from Mortal Combat. It was my first time as a cos-play model which was fun to try out and Callum made it easy for me. I would recommend shooting with Callum and hope we can try another character next time.

I worked with Callum recently, his pre comms were excellent and we organised a Cosplay shoot where I was Sarryu from akame ga kill! We booked half a day in near the actual comicon in London and covered many poses in the fabulous outfit. Callum was really lovely, patient, kind, chatty and he brought ideas which I really appreciated as I was new to Cosplay! He was also really understanding when I lost my phone and was happy to stop the shoot to find it - which we did, hurrah.

A great guy who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend :)

Callum got in touch about a shoot together during my recent tour of Scotland when I visited the Inverness area; it was our first shoot together and quite exciting as the brief was focussed on cosplay which I hadn't modelled in any great depth up to then. It was really fun zoning in to become the character that Callum had handpicked (amazing choice!) and gives a different glamorous spin to a photoshoot as you can really let your acting go and take form with the poses.

Literally full credit to Callum for organising the look and shoot with epic detail: he sourced all the outfits which looked so effective, arranged the studio as it was looking slightly risky with the weather and got together an excellent collection of images to follow for posing ideas relative to the theme. He knows exactly what will work for the shots and whilst he welcomes a model own input and to give their own interpretation of the characters, Callum is able to give very effective direction too so he's a great photographer to work with who encourages team-input and a good working rapport.

I found him so easy to work with: the shooting pace was relaxed but productive, Callum was so lovely and polite. We had a real laugh too and chatted lots: he kindly picked me up from where I had been staying locally the night before our shoot even when the traffic was crazy! He's a totally respectful gent and really down to earth - we said right there and then that it would be great to get another shoot organised when I am next up. I can most confidently recommend him highly to other models and mean it quite honestly that he's a pleasure to work with. Very much looking forward to transforming me into another interesting character when we next meet! :D

The images we got were really nice too - something totally different to the standard model styles I do but just awesome: very cute and iconic but in a way that you could play around with the look and introduce sensuality too. Callum worked at being creative with angles and composition as per each shot as well which gave great impact. He was actively shifting around the set to do each shot justice and had an excellent eye for the little things that sometimes go unnoticed but can make all the difference in a shot. At the end of the shoot he let me keep the outfit and the adorable cuddly toy prop we used which just made my day: all the sexy lingerie I accumulate on shoots and I get excited about a cute little flying squirrel plush toy! :P It's always a nice change to do shoots that aren't a models usual style however, Callum knows his Cosplay so well - brilliant photographer who does the genre well!

All round wonderful shoot with lots of laughs, brilliant communications and a nice creative half day in Inverness where I hadn't previously advertised for availability before. Certainly worth the extra few miles for models touring Scotland, and definitely contact Callum if you're going that way. :)

Had another great shoot with Callum, he arrived on time and again had plenty of reference images to use as inspiration for poses. He had liaised with the studio beforehand so we had a cool snowy backdrop to use which was all set up when I arrived. This time I was Sansa Stark and despite the costume being huge (fault in the design) we managed to make it work. Thank you Callum :)
