I had a fantastic second shoot with Paul after we had to rearrange due to my laptop going kaput on the day of our shoot! Paul was super understanding and we shot a few weeks later.

Paul had some fantastic ideas and it was such a great and creative session. Paul is relaxed and takes lots of breaks but he is also focussed on making art! Paul is a real pleasure to work with and I look forward to shoot number 3 :)

Paul booked a place on the recent Bohemian Bloom REMOTE event with myself, Carla Monaco and Ivory Flame. It was our third remote and this time we treated it a little differently, and more experimental (and colourful!) hehe :)

It was a thoroughly enjoyable hour! I made sure that each and every person who booked a slot with me got something different so no outfit was repeated- it was a challenge, but I managed it!

Such a wonderful event with amazing people. Thank you SO much Paul for booking a place with us- I can't wait to see some of the results.

It was great to work with Paul remotely with the support of Graham Currey. Paul knows exactly what he wants and is not afraid to direct the model. Communication beforehand was good and we knew what we wanted to accomplish. Paul works with natural light and the results were fantastic. I look forward to working with him again.

Paul was the first photographer I've shot with during my first remote shoot, at Shawn's home studio and it was an absolute pleasure to work with him! Although remote shoots are a bit different, the communication with Paul was actually excellent. I loved working with him, he's such a nice and funny guy and of course an amazing photographer. I worked with Paul today along with Roger More assisting on a remote shoot at my home where he kindly booked me for half a day!

I am relatively new to remote photography, although learning quickly and gaining confidence. I really appreciated Pauls patience, advice and direction during the photographic session. I will definitely apply the feedback to further shoots!

Paul is an utter sweetheart to work with- a lovely Irish gentleman with a fantastic sense of humour! Cool, calm, collected, professional, respectful and witty, all you could ever wish for!

The shoot reminded me that I really do need to organise another tour to Ireland soon, its been too long (and as I said to Paul, I am 40% Irish after all, its meant to be! :)

Paul first contacted me about remote shoots before I was offering them and I messaged him back promising I would let him know when I started!! Fast forward a few weeks and here I am leaving Paul a reference for our lovely four hour remote that took place over the weekend!!

As has been said all along, remote shoots are not a replacement for 'in person shoots' but, as has been proved now over and over- they are a fabulous and creative alternative while we are unable to shoot face to face.

Paul knew exactly what he wanted and after a tour of my home studio we decided on a spot in my studio room- and for the entire four hours we stayed there!! Now, this might sound crazy but the time FLEW by, we never got bored and we got some cracking natural lifestyle/ portrait images.

I'm super chuffed with the results and it was great to do a remote with someone so full of energy and with so many stories!! :D

I look forward to working with Paul again in the future, and one day- in person!

I’m not quite sure what number remote shoot we are on but I love working with Paul! He is an amazing person and an amazing photographer! I always enjoy chatting with Paul and can’t wait till we can actually meet!

Paul always takes fabulous images, we always have a laugh and the hours are filled with banter!

Would I recommend Paul Cooley? Absolutely, yes I would.. we had a remote shoot booked 3 days ago - Paul was the most welcoming, warm, patient, kind, creative photographer.. super relaxed and the way he likes to conduct shoots is so refreshingly easy-going in terms of stopping to review, shooting, having a cuppa, working on bettering current shots, etc.. it's impossible not to get awesome results.

Paul's direction on lighting and the placement of the camera is spot on - clear, concise.. for him, it's all about quality over quality, and who doesn't want that?

I think the quality of his portfolio speaks for itself, but the photographer behind the work is just as wonderful.

I am really looking forward to more remote shoots with Paul, and eventually meeting in person when we're all back on the road! Oh, and we had a right old laugh.. about all sorts of stuff - a really great connection, thank you!

We have worked together four times now... three of those over lockdown and remotely from Ireland to wiltshire, with the most recent one from my base in Cyprus.

Paul is super easy to work with, we get on so well and he has become my “portrait buddy”. Shoots are always a laugh and super productive. The quality of Paul’s work speaks for itself and we always get some cracking shots.

Did a remote shoot. Paul had excellent communication skills via Facebook messager. His technical skills were amazing. He had a clear Idea of what he wanted. I loved the images that came out the shoot and I would definitely work with him again.

I was thrilled that Paul contacted me to book a remote shoot, as his work is wonderful and I really love creating with Black and White imagery, especially eye-catching portraits, which he focuses on and captures so beautifully.

We split the shoot up into 2 sessions, to work in my two separate rooms as optimum times of the day for light, and produced a fantastic range of gorgeous results.

Paul was so respectful, considerate, professional and enjoyable to work with from start to finish. The shoot was extremely fun, collaborative and rewarding, and Paul's communication and efficient use of remote set up is fantastic! I cannot recommend him enough!

I had a remote shoot with Paul today from Ireland to hull! With Paul controlling my DSLR through remote assistance and canon utilities. We shot for a full afternoon and managed to get some great portraits with natural light and against a white wall like a studio set up.

We’ve already talked about our next shoot with different ideas.

We got on our like a house on fire!
