Yeeey - finaly had A chance to shoot with Chris on one to one - we have had shot before Few times on group shoots. We were trying to set our date for shoot for quite a while and somehow either timings didn’t match or myself once had to cancel due to crazy reason - tried not so good cream on face and ended up with no shoots for few weeks . And Chris was kind to reschedule - and I’m happy he did .

Pre shoot comms were excellent , he was all ready for set , picked me up from Liverpool to location . We had great variety of ideas and we managed to get very good images today .

Studio is warm and welcoming with different variety of set backgrounds (our aim was white high key) and I had changing area to let my stuff explode :D

Lorreen ( his wife) - excellent host - helped me with some accessories, and thank you very very much for coffee and tee. I felt very welcomed and hope to return to C&L studio soon.

It was my second time visiting the studio. I was booked for the evening group shoot. Chris picked me up and dropped me off from the studio which was nice. It had been such a while since I'd popped West for a shoot at C&L Studios, so when they got in touch with me last year to organise an event at the studio for January - I was over the moon! Our earliest shoots together go way back; lots of good memories too!

We had chatted on a few occasions about fixing a date for a studio event but timings just hadn't worked out before so it had been on the agenda for a while. Then it all came together and we secured the date with the same perfect communications that we have had previously which make for brilliant organisation ahead of time - literally a dream! Sometimes it can be a lot of "toing and froing" with getting shoots organised if it's a case of checking availability/workability or having to speak to multiple people that might be attending the same event; but C&L Studios are just the best at it and after just a few emails covering what the schedule was for the day and the essential details: we were sorted! I have no end of appreciation for their epic coordination for their events which really make it a breeze for the models booked, even down to their amazing work put in to assemble the photographers due to be on board for the event... I would literally speak to Chris again just a few days before to confirm if there was anything else I needed to bring/be prepped for and that was it! They sorted everything and sorted it beautifully.

The day of the shooting came around Lorraine met me at the front to help me with my ridiculous number of bags! The studio was lovely and warm all set for the day and I had my own space as before in the model changing area to get prepped/do touch-ups and let my suitcases explode! I'd only just got there and I was fed yummy herbal tea - they want to be careful about spoiling their models too much! We might just spend the day stuck to the kettle with treats like this! :P Everyone began to arrive and settle in: it was a really wonderful group of photographers all of whom showed lovely greetings/some familiar faces too! The atmosphere was wonderful from the start, and C&L Studios have literally nailed the perfect group size for such events where you get the chance to talk to people one-on-one and shoot one-on-one with the social quality/everyone getting on and having a good laugh as we worked, but it not being too crowded with too big a group. They have cracked it perfectly here for sure with their events. :) There was a good systematic agenda for the styles/sets and the group worked in wonderful harmony with each photographer taking it in turns and getting proper person to person creative time to work with the model. Chris himself is a very skilled photographer too so he is on hand to setup gorgeous lighting setups, plus doing his own creative shooting magic when our turn to work together came around; he has a fantastic eye across the genres and can direct brilliant as well as working with the models when they are flowing independently through a repertoire.

Was I well looked after? YOU BET! At lunch time there was yummy grub brought in, lighting eyes up all around the room prepared fresh by Lorraine who was working behind the scenes to help out in making the day every bit wonderful. There was never really a designated "brew" time because any time was brew time! :D Everyone showed respect and courtesy through the day and Chris managed it so professionally well. I felt so happy working, which is essentially the best way to be because you actually enjoy the shooting and throw yourself in with high spirits. I seriously cannot recommend C&L Studios enough for all they did for me on the day and this wonderful event they hosted. I don't do too many studio-days or group shoots these days, but I'd dash back and work for these guys again in a heartbeat!

A massive thank you to Chris for booking me for his group studio day. There were 6 photographers who did 4 minutes each with me per set, it’s organised really well so that you don’t end up in a paparazzi situation. The group were a great mix of characters and all good guys! Chris’s wife brought through lunch for everybody which was very kind of her. Chris is an awesome photogrpaher. I absolutly love his work. I really enjoyed attending his studio day this week. He runs is beautifully giving every one a fair amount of time. The evening went by so fast and I am very impressed with the images we created. On top of that he is a lovely man he gave myself and the lovely Mark Lycett a lift got he station.

I would love to work with Chris again soon.

My first ever trip to liverpool/Wirral area

And what a great place to go!

The studio is brilliant! Equipment was top of the range and all a photographer could need, the vibe and energy was just brilliant

The day sold out quickly, Chris is a total darling! Such a genuine soul

When I turned up I did prewarn I was full of cold, which I was worrying about all morning prior, as soon as we met I was put to ease within seconds! And told I’d been made a lovely brew and given some cough sweets & well looked after!

The group were amazing, the best bunch of photographers to come together. Like a family!

I have had the best day yesterday and I’d recommend this studio in a heartbeat!

I always love modelling at c & l, the studio is lovely and the owner Chris is a lovely guy, super easy to get along with and we always have a laugh.

I teamed up with Lilly von pink for our annual Halloween theme club night for the 3rd year running and as always Chris mad a unique amazing set for us to pose on.

Great host and all round great person and place to be around.

I attended a Halloween themed group shoot last night. Chris had spent a lot of time and thought setting up the studio to cover the event. Plenty of props and a smoke machine helped create the right atmosphere and both models were excellent.

Another amazing shoot with Chris! Studio is great (and warm!) with lots of different props and backgrounds. Had a quick peak at the images on the back of the camera and I love them already. I’m so glad that Chris replied to my casting for a free day on my tour! Shoot was arranged promptly, his studio is lovely and has everything you need. They have thought of the little details which is always nice, his wife and cats were lovely too! We shot a range of looks and the photos looked awesome. I hope to work with him again some day and return to the studio :) highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of working with Chris for the first time as part of a group location shoot.

Chris was so easy to talk to and work with, I felt comfortable straight away.. It was one of my first shoots after a long break having twins, but Chris made it easy to get back in to the swing of things.
