I have worked at Michaels fabulous rustic villa on a couple of occasions now and it’s always an absolute pleasure. The villa is such an amazing place to shoot from it’s one of the few places you would never get bored of. The thing that makes the whole trip as well is Michaels hospitality. He works very hard to make your trip a truly enjoyable experience.

I also can’t do a reference without mentioning his delicious cooking! Whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is exceptional, catering for all tastes. Michael also has a great in depth knowledge of really cool places to shoot from around the area that you would never get back in Blighty!

It is such an honour to be a guest here and i will keep visiting Michaels for as long as I can :)

I always love working at Micheal's and with him too! I have been coming to his villa for the last 5 years and I love it more each year! He has great knowledge of the local area for locations to shoot know great places to eat and have a beer and is very helpfully when it comes to setting up the cam for the right setting to deal with the nice natural sun light.

The villa is lovely, a second home to me it always feels like and Micheal always on hand with ideas and exciting new things to do as he is happy to drive about for that perfect location but if you're not feeling leaving his lovely villa more then enough places to shoot at his with lovely natural light coming in.

I love it here already have plans to come back in August to shoot some more and of course I would recommend Micheal whole heartily as he is a lovely guy and a Wonderfull Photography

My 5th year running now, at Michael’s really excellent rustic Algarvian house. Great facilities, food and accommodation. He has lights, a 40 foot long sun terrace, and Pixel the Studio Guard Cat. You must try it.

Incredible shooting location with stunning views, Michael is super helpful and knowledgeable about the Algarve, he is a very accomodating host an ensure you have a brilliant stay.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Michaels villa last week. Having met Michael last year and working with him as part of another group, we kept in touch and planned to shoot again this year. Organisation and pre comms were faultless and everything ran smoothly.

Michael is one of the most easy going people I know and I love his relaxed approach in both shooting and in general. We work together really well and produced some superb results.

Furthermore, Michael is the perfect host, making sure you are well looked after plus he spent an awful lot of time ferrying me about (thank you so much!). Michael is extremely knowledgable about locations and surrounding areas so you will never run out of ideas on places to shoot. The villa itself though is excellent and has so much shooting potential you would never tire of ideas.

Without any hesitation, trips4togs comes very highly recommended and if you haven't sampled it yet what are you waiting for!!

I cannot thank Michael enough for the great time at trips4togs and really looking forward to the next time :)

Another successful hire of Michael's lovely secluded villa in the Algarve, southern Portugal. A great host, lovely sun terrace to shoot on, fantastic locations near by. Chloe T and Lena 93, with 30 degree sunshine....and Pixel, the new cat. :-)

I recently took a party of three models,myself, and a make-up artist and hairstylist to stay with Michael at his beautiful villa in the hills of the South Algarve.

Communication prior to arrival was excellent, Michael could not do enough for us; he very kindly arranged transport on our behalf, which he used to ferry us around the beautiful locations he had recommended we shoot at.

The value of somebody with local knowledge is invaluable. He also personally met us at the airport and arranged our transfers using his local right-hand man, Pedro. (whose house we later visited where we met up with another party and enjoyed a sumptuous Chinese feast prepared by his wife - highly recommended)

The Villa was rustic, very spacious and comfortable, nestling into the beautiful foothills, and was an ideal place to shoot and relax. The temptation of a cool beer or glass of wine and a dip in the pool at the end of the day was very well received.

Even with our large party Michael was very hospitable, a great conversationalist, and worked tirelessly as a congenial host; this was aided by his relaxed and very personable nature.

His recommendations for meals out and his prowess in the kitchen were greatly appreciated. He ensured we were suitably fuelled every day and that we wanted for nothing.

The locations we shot at were plentiful and Michael's local knowledge of the direction of light and best times to shoot were of immense value.

Michael is also a knowledgeable photographer and willingly shared the benefit of his experience quite freely.

All in all it was a successful trip, with too many incredible images to mention. I look forward to returning again in the spring of 2017 and highly recommend both Michael and his services without reservation.

Enjoyed an amazing, memorable week at trips4togs. The charming rustic villa offers a fantastic base, set amidst stunning mountainous scenery & near to characterful villages & towns. Within close proximity are a wealth of diverse dream locations to shoot at. Michael the host was incredibly generous with his time, information & ideas - and an all round fun, cool guy with a great artistic eye. His warm hospitality really helped both my model & I relax & enjoy our time to the max (the delicious tapas he prepared helped too!). Very highly recommended for a superlative experience!

I was very fortunate to be able to shoot at Michael Whites place in the Algarve last week.

Stunning location in a hill top village, brilliant views, and light ! It was the first time I had meet Michael, what a nice guy ! and a very helpful and experienced photographer.

In addition to the house and terrace there are many stunning locations in the area. Too many to cover in an afternoon and evening. I am looking forward to going back there for a few days as soon as possible.

100 % recommended.

Shot at Michael's beautiful studio last week. What can I say that hasn't been mentioned yet. This location is really adaptable to your individual needs and we certainly did get amazing results. Every angle is a different set, both inside and outside. Really happy with my stay. Highly recommended to all photographers and models. Michael is fantastic host too! Thank you. Michael is a wonderful host as well as an exceptional photographer. He took us to some great locations in addition to his own house and was on hand to provide assistance and advice if required.

As well as having a wonderful few days shooting in the amazing light of the Algarve I also gained a friend and would recommend Portfolio locations to anyone looking for a professional but relaxed venue to take models and shoot in wonderful surroundings.

I shot Chloe T here for 4 days, just before Easter. Wish that it could have been 7 days, as me, the model & MUA loved it so much. Fabulous house, sun terrace & pool. The village centre is just a 5 minute walk away. About 10 places nearby to shoot at, with about 3 different sets from each. Michael is very friendly and an excellent host. I will be returning for a 2nd visit. Highly recommended.
